Villa Felice

Location

Terrifically convenient location in the the Arno Valley, near the town of Rignano sull'Arno, which has shops, supermarket, restaurants and a handy train station. The villa is located a short drive to the A1 highway and it is only a 30 minute drive from Florence. Every Thursday morning until 1pm there is a farmer's market.

The town of Pontassieve (10 minutes away) has a farmer's market on Saturday mornings.

The picturesque town of Reggello is known for its abundance of agricultural products, which culminates each December with a international olive oil exhibition.

This is an outdoorsy area, with a national forest preserve, hiking, horseback riding and in the fall, hunting.

Some of the interesting local sites to visit are the towns of Pontassieve, the Castle of Sammezzano, and the Vallombrosa Abbey.

For Italian fashion enthusiasts you couldn't be more conveniently located to Tuscany's famous The Mall which tourists and Italians alike search out for top designer fashion at a discount from the major fashion brands Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Dior, La Perla, Prada, Todd, Loro Piana, to name a few. 

Exterior

Villa Felice has been carefully restored to take advantage of the privacy and views.

The road leading to the villa is partially paved, partially dirt road with very little traffic. Enter through a private automatic gate up a cypress-lined driveway and begin to enjoy your private retreat.

A beautiful swimming pool and an array of patio furniture, lounge chairs and umbrellas for enjoying on summer days.

Interior

A large, luxury villa on three floors provides ample room for everyone to relax. Handsome living room with fireplace and warm wood book shelves has archway leading to dining room and a set of French doors leading to the garden. The den also fireplace and a large window and glass doors that illuminate the room. The large TV in the den receives a few English-language news channels.

Kitchen and half bathroom on this floor. Kitchen is fully appointed with pots, pans and appliances.

Upstairs an enclosed loggia runs along the entire front of the house is nearly wall-to-wall windows with beautiful views of the forested area.

The separate cottage has a full living room with TV, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
