It's one of the most historical areas of the city, but you won't need to wander far to find modern comforts like markets, restaurants, and the popular tourist destinations. Make sure to check out the traffic-free Piazza Santa Croce, which is home to regular soccer games (complete with medieval costumes!). The apartment is located on Via Verdi, a historic street with a mixture of medieval and mid-century modern architecture.

This apartment is the best of both worlds: a modern style in an historic neighborhood. Designed by the famous mid-century modern architect Giovanni Michelucci in the 1960s, the apartment is located just a short walk away from the lively Piazza Santa Croce.
