Picture yourself in the very center of Florence relaxing on the wraparound balcony of Concerto apartment. Situated high in the building, you’ll enjoy 180-degree views that span the top of the Duomo all the way across the Arno river to the Pitti Palace. In between are views of medieval towers and traditional terracotta tile rooftops. The gorgeous Concerto apartment is a symphony of beautiful design that harmonizes warm Mediterranean colors in a light-filled apartment designed for comfort and convenience.

The Concerto apartment provides an incredible location from which to explore all of Florence. Located just one block from the Uffizi Museum, Piazza Signoria and the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge, you simply cannot be more central. Just outside you’ll find excellent restaurants, a café, a pizzeria and several jewelry, fine arts and clothing boutiques. From the history that’s made Florence famous to iconic Italian fashion, you’ll find it all right on your doorstep at Concerto.

The living room welcomes the outdoors with French doors and a large window opening to the terrace that wraps around two sides of the apartment. Enjoy your morning espresso on the balcony or raise a glass to the sunset in the evening. A comfy L-shaped sofa for relaxing and two armchairs around a coffee table provide the perfect indoor seating for family and friends. The sofa opens into a comfortable double bed for 1 person.

The open plan kitchen is well equipped and perfect for meals “at home.” With advance arrangement, we can organize a private chef to prepare a delicious Tuscan meal in your apartment.

Bedroom 1 has an en suite bathroom accessed through a clever “hidden” door in the wall of closets that line the room. The vast amount of closet space is impressive. Bedroom 2 has French doors that open to the balcony. The second bathroom is across the living room. The handsome bathrooms, each with enclosed showers, pay tribute to Italian craftsmanship with beautiful tilework.

The Concerto apartment is located in a building that was constructed around a historic medieval tower, the Torre Lambertesca. The building’s elevator even runs up the tower! The stones of this impressive medieval tower echo some of the turbulent times in Florentine history. In the 11th and 12th centuries, prominent Florentine families built towers up to 70m/ 230ft high for defense during the violent competition among them. Torre Lambertesca is one of the few remaining of once 150 towers in the city. In the 13th century, with the founding of the Republic of Florence, the era of civil battles ended and the towers were all reduced to a height of 29m/ 95ft.
