"The was by far the best accommodations in all of Florence. The Memoria apartment was at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio. Located on the fourh floor, it has panoramic views of the Arno River, the Ponte Vecchio and the Boboli Gardens. We were able to visit many areas on foot and took a few day trips to Siena and Lucca. The S.M. Novella Firenze train station was a 10 minute walk and much easier than renting a car. Some of the needed details for a stay would be that there is a grocery store right on the opposite side of the Ponte Vecchio (Conad) for household supplies and the heat should be turned on about 20 minutes before you need hot water for showering. We recommend Tratorria Nella for dinner and if time allows, a tour or the wineries and a cooking class. Shopping at the San Lorenzo market for personal items and at the Mercado Market for food are also a must. Italy Perfect was excellent and a pleasure to work with. We were met by Lucca on our arrival and he went through the apartment thoroughly so that we would be familiar with the accommodations. The apartment was furnished beautifully. The size was excellent and comfortable accommodated four adults. There was a small elevator so one person at a time but very reliable service. Upon leaving Lucca returned to ensure all was in order. Again, very efficient and hassle free. We would certainly refer friends and family to Italy Perfect and have done so already. Thank you for a wonderful vacation."

"The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable for 4 adults. The terrace views and the great location was awesome. I loved the terrace and painting from it was divine. We all enjoyed the sights and sounds. If you are a light sleeper the canal was a bit noisy in the evenings. Easy access to food stores and transportation. Very nice."

We found this apartment absolutely perfect for our family of four. The apartment was clean and spacious and really felt like our Italian home for the week. Indeed we were very sad to leave! A big thank you to our host as well for making us feel so welcome. It is a bit of a walk from the most popular part of the centre, however, after a day of negotiating the crowded center of Florence, we found it to be a bit of a relief, notwithstanding the extra walking. Also, the walk home (if you stray from the riverfront) provides an opportunity to stop in the shops on Ognissanti for anything you may need for dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment -- you will absolutely enjoy your stay here.

"My wife and I were very pleased with the Prisco apartment in Florence. We stayed 8 nights at the end of February 2012, and everything proved to be "as advertised." The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a modern bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. Italy Perfect provided a comprehensive information package prior to arrival, and Franco was waiting for us when we arrived. The location is outstanding! It just a few minutes walk to the train station in one direction and to the main tourist areas in the other. We enjoyed the numerous shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but it's also just a short walk to just about everything else. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, and we intend to use Italy Perfect again in the future."

"Paolina was a great location but would never stay there for more than a few days because we missed the light and having no real windows. The smallness was a bit confining and having only one side of the bed to exit from was an inconvenience. [We were so glad to get this great location for you at the last minute when the weather caused you to get to Rome early. At least the budget price was right! Cheers, Italy Perfect]"

"I didn't want to get so caught up in my re-entry process from our wonderful visit to Rome that I neglect the opportunity to send you my comments on our stay in the Spagna apartment. From start to finish, it was an incredibly successful experience. - The information on your website about the apartment was exhaustive and included warts (the very few critical comments) and all. This is important to every prospective client, but never more so than for a client who is a first-time visitor and therefore probably a little more anxious than someone who knows the city well, and, candidly, for the client who will be spending a lot of money on the accommodation. No one likes to be gypped, or stranded and unhappy in a place that is very different from what was represented! The information on your site about the apartment was so thorough and honest that I felt no shock upon entering, only happiness at finally seeing the place in person. - The registration process was easy to understand and easy to complete, and your communication with me was always timely, responsive to my query, and helpful, with additional suggestions or ideas for me to consider. - Your additional documents - on everything from phone use, to life in Rome, to restaurant recommendations - are an amazingly valuable addition to the "package" of renting with you. Reviewing them, I felt I could land running in a new and unfamiliar city. - It is hard to imagine that an apartment could have been more perfectly located than this one. The Spagna apartment is right in the middle of everything - situated between the Spanish Steps and the Piazza del Popolo, only a few minutes' walk to the Villa Borghese, so my kids could run around, and easy walking distance to shops and most of the restaurants we went to - and yet, in the middle of its tiny street, away from the noise and the bustle. After full days of tromping around the city, the quiet was a really welcome respite. - The apartment was as gracious in its space, comfort and personal touches as it appears in the photos. My kids are past the age where I would have needed to worry about the antiques, silver pieces and other special, personal accessories in the apartment, and even my 10-year-old noticed the difference between this rental and many others we have had: "Mom, this place doesn't have empty picture hooks like our Lake Tahoe rentals: She left everything here for us to enjoy." The apartment felt great to be in and was totally comfortable for our party of 3 adults and 2 kids who all enjoy some space at the end of a long day. - The owner and her assistant were there to greet us when we arrived, and had kindly bought us some grocery basics to tide us over till we got to the market ourselves. The assistant did confirm that the owner would, at least some of the time, be in the closed-off servant's quarters, and I will say that it was a bit of an odd feeling to hear her talking, coughing - being - through an obviously thin wall from time to time, but this really did not detract one bit from our experience in the apartment. We felt we had our privacy, and that the apartment was all ours while we were there. The owner came to see us off when we left - we had confirmed the time in advance - and she was very kind to present us with a small, personal farewell gift. - Stefano, a recommended driver, was absolutely punctual and friendly to everyone in our party. I will note two things, first, that the tiny-ness of the street the Spagna apartment is on made it impossible for Stefano to drive the minivan we had for the five of us to our door. The closest he could get was the nearest corner, so we needed to shlep our many bags/carryons 1/2 block to the front door of the apartment building - and then back to the car on our way back to the airport on our last day. Obviously, Stefano could not simply leave his vehicle double-parked there on the main street, so we had no help from him getting our bags down the 1/2 block of cobblestones.. This was a bummer though no giant deal for our group; however, if the guests were seniors - or younger kids than ours - this could have been a real problem. I also want to point out that the minivan Stefano had for us both ways had working seatbelts for only four of the five of us. He joked that in Rome there's no need for seatbelts, but obviously we all know different, and with the rather crazed commute traffic there were more than a few instances of Stefano needing to slam on the brakes - and the person with no seatbelt having to really anxiously brace herself. Our visit to Rome was enhanced immeasurably by our stay in the Spagna apartment and with all your generous help. I am sad to think that our travels to ever-new destinations will probably mean we have been in that beautiful home for the last time, but I am quite sure I will be a return client of Italy Perfect - indeed, I have already perused some of the places in other parts of Italy, to begin the wheels turning in my mind - and I have already recommended Italy Perfect to friends wholeheartedly. Thank you so much."

The location was perfect. Well positioned walking distance to all the major attractions. There are many memorable locations and unfortunately we can't remember all the great restuarants by name, however, we were successful in wondering around and relying on instinct in terms of good restaurants.
