"Our apartment at Santa Croce Tosca was excellent--clean, comfortable, everything as promised. The greeter , Francesca, was very helpful and we enjoyed the party hosted by her mother the Contessa. Our utility costs were quite a bit less than advertised and the WiFi worked well. As you probably know there is considerable noise rising from piazza Santa Croce on Friday and Saturday evenings as it is a gathering spot; but we ran a sound machine (white noise worked best) and really had no problems sleeping on those evenings. It is definitely a good place to stay in Florence and close to everything. Restaurant tip: Francesco Vini , really good in a town full of good places to eat and very close. Yes, I would recommend Italy Perfect to anyone."

We will definitely recommend ItalyPerfect to all of our friends and hope to return to take advantage of your great hospitality in the future! Please convey our sincere thanks to Maurizio. He made us feel so welcome and his recommendations for restaurants and other activities were superb. It was delightful to meet him. He is a true asset to your firm. Again many thanks for making our Florentine experience great."

We were delighted with the Vespucci apartment, which provided a beautiful and relaxed retreat from the streets of Florence. The apartment is light, comfortable and very well set up, with lots of thoughtful touches to ensure guests have everything they might want. We loved the rooftop views and the excellent location (just on the edge of the historic quarter - so easy walking distance to key sites, but in a quiet residential area). Walking along the Arno in the evening was a particular pleasure (keep an eye out for otters!). We also really enjoyed meeting Claudia who was very accommodating around arrival and departure times, and gave us an expert run-down on the local area and where to find what we wanted. The local shop (5 minutes' walk) is really well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables (along with other supplies), and there's a delicatessen/butcher's shop even closer that sells meat and poultry as well as milk and eggs. Cooking meals was great fun with excellent local ingredients and the apartment's well set-up kitchen (better stocked than mine at home!) Overall, this was a brilliant holiday stay and we would thoroughly recommend the Vespucci apartment to other travellers.

" First, let me say that my wife Susan and I thoroughly loved our stay in Venice, and that our apartment contributed very much to the enjoyment. The apartment was wonderful. The somewhat eclectic furnishing style struck, for us, the perfect balance of modern with traditional Venetian richness, all enhanced by a bohemian undercurrent. This combination set a perfect mood for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and cookware to prepare just about any likely meal or snack. The size, location and layout of the apartment provided the perfect “base camp” for exploration, and then for respite and recovery after the day’s adventures. We will be very pleased to recommend La Serenata to our friends. "

First, unfortunately the elevator went out the day before we arrived. The host was extremely apologetic and profusely voiced her dismay. The positive, it helped work off the pasta, wine and desserts. We cannot compliment the host or Lisa at Italy Perfect adequately. They were professional, promptly responded to emails and questions, the best "Introduction Package" I have encountered in our global travels, were proactive in providing information needed prior to travel, etc. The accommodations were clean, attractive and comfortable. A great value for the money. The location was even better than anticipated. Trains and buses were one block away, and best of all the last stop on the bus route. No matter where we got on we just went to the last stop and got off. Recommend you book a cooking class, a highlight of our three week trip. Hit all the "tourist sites" especially Galileo's museum, and go to Michelangelo's plaza that overlooks the city. Again, this apartment was a true value, the host delightful and the location perfect. Book early or you will lose the opportunity!!!! [We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, sorry that the elevator was briefly out but was promptly fixed.]

"Our family traveled to Italy this past August and stayed in the Pasquino apartment. With two teenage daughters, the apartment worked beautifully as it gave us more room than we would otherwise have in two hotel rooms. The apartment was ideally located in the historic center of Rome, and we were able to walk to most major attractions of the city. The apartment was clean and well furnished. While we did not cook in the apartment it appeared to be set up just fine. There were just too many good restaurants nearby. It was nice to have a large refrigerator for the essentials and milk for breakfast, though. Pat gave us great guidance on the apartment and the overall service was terrific. We have already recommended Italyperfect to some friends. -Scott H."

"We stayed in the Michaela apartment Sept 15 thru Sept 20. It was a great apartment in a perfect location. The owners were lovely and very accommodating and friendly."

"This was our first trip to Italy and this apartment in Florence couldn't have been more perfect. The location is wonderful! The apartment beautiful, sunny and large. Miki and Franco couldn't have been nicer! The location of this apartment is very centrally located, and we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Anything you want to see or buy is right there. We would love to return to this apartment. Our experience with Italy Perfect was outstanding! The service and information Pat and Lisa provide made our trip much easier - thank you so much!!"

"Hi……re the rental of Vespucci apartment……….we thought the apartment was a bit far from the sites downtown but after a while we did get the tickets for the little city bus for a ride back to the apt after a busy day of sightseeing..; the surrounding area was lovely and felt very safe……….both my husband and I think Italy Perfect s a first class business…..the information packet given to renters is invaluable and we especially liked the fact that there were lists of neighborhood restaurants and shops …all of which we found to be described accurately….the apartment itself was perfect…..i think the little balcony might be a bit misrepresented as it is just used to hang laundry …..the elevator was out of service for the last week of our stay so that was inconvenient when we were departing with all of our luggage…..and yes we would and have recommended Italy Perfect to our friends….thank you. Thank you. We are so pleased you enjoyed your month-long stay, the lovely area and the apartment. Sorry to hear the elevator was out of service when you departed. The walking distances are stated on the Vespucci Map & Weather section, we are sorry you overlooked this information before you reserved. The Italy Perfect Team"

"We never got over how wonderful the apartment was--its size, its comfort and its marvelous kitchen. There were no differences in the way it had been pictured and described. The palatial feel of the entryway was a wonderful surprise. The location is absolutely perfect. The Ponte Vecchio is an easy ten minutes away, Santa Maria Novella is 3 minutes in the opposite direction, the Piazza della Repubblica is very close. The position of the apartment with its generous windows looks down upon crossroads that are lively but not intrusive. You get a real feel for the neighborhood. Our hosts had many excellent recommendations for local restaurants and shops. We highly recommend skipping some of the pricey gourmet shops on the Tornabuoni and going to Pegna, a gourmet and everyday grocery store on via dello Studio, 8. We recommend the cashmere shop G. B. Frugone on Via delle Belle Donne, 35, just a few steps from the apartment. We would absolutely recommend this apartment and our gracious hosts. They are wonderful and warm people."

"Bucine Loggetta is approximately 10 minute drive to the town of Bucine. It is quiet, relaxing and well off the beaten path while at the same time unique in that it has a castle on site where the owners reside. You are surrounded by grapes, olive trees and well maintained gardens and landscaping including a large outdoor pool that too is well maintained. Reception personel are extremely helpful when needing assistance including recommendations on restaurants, shopping or use of the train. Dining is conveniently available on site however we found better options elsewhere but required to drive."

"We stayed at the Paquino apartment which is in a wonderful location. We were able to walk all over historic Rome and enjoyed this clean, spacious apartment. We found excellent small food shops nearby to stock the pantry. Both tea and coffee were already provided, so that was a huge plus the first morning! We loved Piazza Navona and ate in several of the restaurants there. At night it was alive with performance artists and people out for a stroll. Our son was especially pleased because at the Irish Pub just down the street he was able to watch his beloved Vikings play football one evening, even though they lost! We highly recommend this apartment."

"Thank you so much for welcoming us to the Paolina apartment. The apartment is charming, warm and cosy. It helped make our first (and hopefully not our last) vacation in Rome and exceptional experience. It gave us a good feeling every time we returned to the apartment. It felt like home. "

"A beautiful apartment with amazing views. And, most importantly, if you have been to Florence or not, the city is very noisy! This apartment was so quiet. We slept so well and walked everywhere. We were close to everything. Italy Perfect has done such an amazing job. Our host was wonderful and we will be booking again."

"Cassetta Bonsi was exactly as advertised. It was a lovely, charming home in a central location. The owner, Maurizio, was very accomodating and welcoming. He and his wife thought of everything a visitor to Florence would need. One thing I really appreciated were the household items one usually needs to purchase for a vacation rental - toilet paper, soap, kitchen products were already there. I would definitely recommend (and use for future visits) Cassetta Bonsi and Italy Perfect."

"My favorite city in the world and now a place to stay in the center of it. A spacious comfortable high ceilings old fashioned but nicely furnished apartment with a large living room, bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. The kitchenette was designed into a piece of furniture and everything you needed to cook was provided, although we only made breakfast. A few doors away was Trattoria Maryione where we enjoyed wonderful inexpensive family cooked dinners. Centrally located around the block from Gucci, and a short walk to the Duomo. Miki and Franco were excellent hosts and quickly responded to a problematic hair dryer. I would recommend this immaculate apartment and the ease of working with Italy Perfect."

"Our stay was just perfect. The accommodations were great and in a wonderful spot. The right distance from Florence and my favorite jewelry shop. Distances to other Tuscan towns very manageable. Everyone there was just wonderful."

"I was satisfied with the Tesoro apartment. I found it to be spacious and clean, and the appliances and equipment worked well. A special feature was the frescoes and other design attributes (e.g., ornate ceilings) of the apartment. The greeter was also helpful in her explanations of how to function in the apartment. In addition, I appreciated the information that you provided, and your courteous and informed responses to my questions in advance of my trip. I would recommend your company and the Tesoro apartment to others."

"My wife and I spent 5 days at "Tesoro" on Borgo Sante Croche in Florence. For those in search of a Florentine apartment experience set in a well located 700 year old former palace complete with some interesting frescos, 15' ceilings, and a quiet charming terrace, you will want to check this Vrbo out (Through Italyperfect.com). Fear not the place has been updated this century and features all the modern amenities including 5mbps Wi-Fi and a flat screen (so at least you'll have that on the Medicis). The pictures are accurate and the place is indeed lovely. The street is as old as Florence and sits just off the Piazza di Sante Croche plaza, conveniently adjacent to a tourist office which cheerfully served as our concierge. Less than a 10 minute walk to the center of old town.Based on the "gelato index" we derived (cost for the ubiquitous ice cream cone) the nearby stores are about half the price of the more neuvo/upscale west side. Plenty of small restaurants and amenities within a block or two. If there was a downside it could only be all the study abroad students that domicile nearby and seem to flock to nearby bars, though they never bothered us.The apartment is large by Florentine standards and works best as a one bedroom. The den can be made up for a second BR and includes a second full bath and comfortable bed (I know that because my wife slept there one night; don't ask). The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils, plates, glasses, microwave, corkscrews, etc. Beautiful LR with Wbfp so probably cozy in the cold seasons. The master BR king bed is kind of odd, though maybe I'm just not European enough. Anyway, watch your step. Nice large master bath with smoked mirrors. Tesoro is one spiral flight up or via a small elevator, that we avoided.All-in a great stop for us and a rental that we will inquire about next time we are in Florence."
