We stayed in this amazing apartment for 4 nights in December 2013 and the location was fantastic, about a 5 minute leisurely walk from the Spanish steps. Our greeter couldn't have been more helpful, and even arranged a driver to get us to the airport when we departed. The apartment is within a 20min walking distance to most locations and only 5 minutes from the Metro, which is very easy to use. (If you want to get to the Colosseum, Vatican City, etc) There are also many restaurants to choose from nearby. The greeter gave us many choices, but we also stumbled upon an fantastic restaurant in our street called, 'Life'. (It was so good we even dinned there two nights in a row) The apartment was spacious (we slept 5 adults in there very comfortably) and the amenities were great. Only one let down was the lack of constant hot water when having a shower. (Think this is a norm in Italy though) Would definitely recommend this to travellers as it is great value for money and gives you a true Italian experience.

"Our family of six (2 adults, 3 teenagers, 1child) stayed at the Ginevra apartment in December 2013. It was beautifully furnished, clean and bright. Three small balconies overlook the street and roof tops. The beds were comfortable, linen excellent and abundant towels provided. A welcome pack of coffee, tea, jam and Christmas chocolates was provided. Daniella the apartment manager met us on our arrival and kindly provided an Italian cell phone with credit to use if needed during our stay. She was also able to arrange a later checkout which was really appreciated. The location was perfect - Spanish Steps less than 5 minutes walk, Trevi fountain less than 10. At the furtherest end of the street is the Via del Corso, one of Rome's main shopping strips. There are abundant restaurants close by, a wonderful Gelateria, and the supermarket is only a 5 minute walk. Despite this the apartment is very quiet, especially at night . We would highly recommend this apartment to families or couples sharing. The sofa bed in the den is best for one, but comfortable enough for two children. There is a short flight of stairs to get to the elevator, not a problem at all for able bodied people. Italy Perfect has been a fantastic Rental Agency, providing us with abundant and clear information on all aspects of staying in Italy, to either download or print. Any question was always responded to, and it gave us complete peace of mind booking with a well established company. Thank you Lisa!"

What a wonderful apartment, very spacious and bright. The location could not of been better! Walking distance to the Spanish Steps,Trevi Fountain, Pantheon.,Etc. My husband and I ate at local restaurants within a block from the apartment and they were all wonderful. Shopping was also right out side the door!! Daniela our greeter was fantastic. She was there upon arrival and even came over one night when we had trouble with the cable TV (we pushed the wrong button). The only negative was the apartment was hooked up to wifi but we would have to pay a small fee and mess around with other cables, usb, etc. I thought it was included in the rent and feel it should of been for the amount that we paid. We never used the internet. All in all we had a great week and we would stay here again if the internet issues were resolved!

"The apartment was perfect for us and as described by Italy Perfect. The location was great and very close to anywhere in florence you want to go as it is a very small city. We stayed for 2 weeks and felt extremely safe in the area and the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment for any and all travelers. Everything was explained and the greeter was very helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay there again. We really enjoyed the restaurant downstairs "bocadama". They were always so friendly and helpful"

"Apartment was clean, sunny and comfortable. Location was even better than we had hoped for, nice street, lots of things to do and see in the area and such a good selection of restaurants. Thank you for all the restaurant recommendations - had a marvelous lunch at La Vecchia Romana one day, best spaghetti carbonara ever!"

"We loved our week in Casetta Bonsi! Maurizio was a wonderful host - waiting for us upon our arrival and making taxi arrangements for our departure. In addition to the beautiful and welcoming furnishings, the wine, pastries, fruit and candy provided were a thoughtful surprise. The location is ideal - off of a quiet street and near the Ponte Vecchio and many restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere and nothing seemed too far. We loved many nearby restaurants - Casalinga, Quattro Leone, Osteria del Cinghale Bianco, Gusta pizza were some favorites. Cantina del Gelato was a daily stop as well. We would recommend Casetta Bonsi and Italy Perfect to anyone seeking a wonderful Florence experience. We hope to return soon!"

"The apartment has good and bad points. Water heater was too small or didn't work well. One person couldn't shower, let alone 4 people. My wife and I have traveled a fair amount in europe and africa so our comments about the shower aren't from ignorance or from comparing to US standards. The free WiFi has a daily limit in terms of data which is not enough for todays applications ( facetime, etc) The apartment location is great. Very close to shops and the Spanish steps. The bedrooms and beds were good and comfortable. The apartment was very comfortable and cute. Lots of natural light. Kitchen was small."

"Our third trip to This property, this unit has been our favorite so far and perfect for two people. The accommodations and perfect, the area is beautiful, great for hikes and centrally located to visit many towns and areas of Italy. It is an easy drive to Florence. The local butcher, fruit market in Bucine are excellent, across the main highway that leads into .bucine from the castle is a great antichi forno in poggi, there are signs. If you need a large market the Coop in Montevarchi is open everyday until 9:00 pm, which is very helpful. We would definitely recommend this to friends and plan to return next year."

"We travel with our children frequently and enjoyed Paris Perfect so much that we instantly sought to use Italy Perfect for our recent trip to Rome. In our first encounter, they made it clear that they were not the same company as Paris Perfect (and it showed). After taking our full payment, they alerted us that the apartment we chose was, in fact, not available even though it showed as available. Apparently, it was easier to take our money than it was to do their diligence on the availability of the property. Nevertheless, we found a suitable alternative (or so we thought). Upon arrival, the greeter was not available so she sent her handyman (who although jovial spoke little to no english). The apartment was dubbed as "modern" but we found that the bathrooms were not as modern as they were made to be. Regardless, we enjoyed our time in the apartment. What we did not enjoy was the time leading up to getting to Rome - Italy Perfect nickels and dimes you and sends sarcastic emails about how everything they have offered is spelled out in their documentation. Rather than work with their customers, I found the attitude to be dismissive and somewhat sarcastic. We love Paris Perfect and will use them again. We will not use Italy Perfect again. [We sincerely regret Our guest was dissatisfied. The Zegno apartment and the other two in the same building, Renata and Valentina, are of excellent quality and offer good service, too, as evidenced by the many positive guest comments. We’re pleased our guest and her family enjoyed their time in the apartment . Unfortunately, there were several factors that resulted in her dissatisfaction.   We were unable to offer a returning Paris guest discount as the guest requested because Paris Perfect & Italy Perfect are different companies with a different group of owners. In spite of this, we were pleased to negotiate a discount on her behalf.   There was a calendar mix-up by the apartment owner that was discovered within 24 hours of reservation. We and the owner apologized sincerely for the error and since the reservation had just been confirmed one day prior, we offered a comparable apartment in the exact same building, or a full and immediate refund. The bathrooms are exactly as pictured on the website, but we sent her an additional 5 photos of the bathrooms so she could evaluate fully before making her decision.   We inform all guests that we cannot guarantee an early check in unless they reserve the previous night. The guest chose the regular check in, and became upset two weeks before her arrival when we could not guarantee an exception until she arrived, explaining that although her chances were good for an early check in, it was not guaranteed since it depends on cleaner’s schedule on arrival day.  We are extremely pleased that our greeter, who is a kind and competent house manager, not a handyman, was able to  accommodate her early arrival. We are sorry his English was unsatisfactory but again pleased he welcomed the guests warmly and politely. Our Reservation Contract has no hidden fees. We are sorry that the reservation mix up got things off on the wrong foot, and despite our sincere apologies, offering a comparable apartment or a full refund, obtaining a discount for her and an early check-in, we were not able to satisfy this customer. "Huge and airy. Clean and comfortable. Fine art pieces. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere, and could stop by the apartment if we just wanted a mid-day break. We had every convenience we needed, lots of room to spread out, and the largest bedroom ever! The lovely hosts were very helpful and congenial, and even left coffee, tea and wine for us. The washing machine was a big plus too. I would definitely recommend this apartment (as well as Italy Perfect) to a friend. We would love to go back and stay here again."

S Croce Paradiso

S Croce Paradiso

"The entire S Croce Square is wonderful. All of the restaurants are incredible! It is not possible to recommend one over another, each one has its own "specialness". Just the joy of walking, talking, sleeping in the Paradiso was our own personal "time-travel" location; we were there! We were there with Michaelangelo and Galileo as they rested in the S Croce Cathedral; we were there with the sights and sounds of the Renaissance all around. We walked the same streets, admired the same surrounding buildings. We were in awe of the fact that we had the opportunity to experience all of this history while staying in such a wonderful apartment. Lisa, we sincerely thank you for the opportunity to experience the beauty of the S Croce Paradiso!"

"We have stayed in apartments in Rome before as we prefer the space and convenience of a kitchen. This apartment was located just steps from Piazza Navonna and other sites. Nice grocery right down the street and restaurants etc all nearby. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was the best we have ever had in a European apartment. Definately would recommend to anyone looking for 2 bedroom apt. in Rome. The check in was easy and quick and there was a book with lots of info on the dining room table. The only downside was there was quite a bit of noise outside at night (until 2 -3 am one night) from the restaurants downstairs. Of course we had the windows open since it was perfect weather for that so it could have been a bit quieter with them closed. The street right outside the door needs to be repaired as there are large holes making it difficult to get inside the door. The elevator worked great (small of course) and it was nice we were the only apt on that floor. Worked great for my MIL who is mobiity challenged and cant walk far or long and cant do stairs well. I would stay here again on future stays. And Pat was awesome to book and work with answering all my questions quickly and efficiently. Thank you for a great stay - C Henry [Thanks so much, Cheryl. Great guest. For future guests; the windows are special noise cancelling type and will eliminate street noise if you close them. The holes in the cobblestones have been reported to the city.]"

"The location of this property could hardly be better. Literally a two-minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Lovely accommodation, very roomy and comfortable. Impeccably maintained. Extremely helpful and kind hosts. We would recommend this property very highly to anyone and would definitely stay there again, should we ever be fortunate enough to return to Florence."

"My husband and I greatly enjoyed the Prisco apartment--it was large, comfortable, filled with light, and well located for walking to sights and restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, kind, and informative (recommended great restaurants). If we should be fortunate enough to return to Florence, we would stay in the Prisco apartment again, and based on this experience, I would suggest Italy Perfect to anyone traveling to Italy."

"Our stay at the Ginevra apartment was so nice and we were so lucky to have such mild November weather. The greeter was kind and helpful, the booking process with Italy Perfect went smoothly. Really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to have a coffee at Cafe Greco which is a short walk, really a special atmosphere!  The driver you recommeded was good too. Thank you for a wonderful experience. "

"The house in Florence was an ideal first stop location in Italy. I suffer greatly from jet lag and the ability to get up and go downstairs in the middle of the night in a comfortable home setting is ideal. The house is comfortable, near all sites and spacious for Italy. Its only 3 blocks from the ponte vecchio so not as noisy as central Florence but buses and garbage trucks do start early in all cities. The coffee bar recommended by the owner was really good for both breakfast and apperitivo. Its a close walk over to the Pitti Palace and Bobili Gardens. Fall is colder than I would have expected (I'm from the desert) so an extra couple of blankets would have been ideal for me since there is no heat available until Nov 1st [per Italian law - IP]. Owner met us and showed us all around & how things worked. The small wall safe was really a nice extra. We would definitely stay here again."

"Casetta Bonsi was truly a "hidden gem" of a house in the middle of a tiny cobblestone street among Florence Apartments. The house was 5 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Ufizzi, and easy access to Florence's main tourist attractions. Actually we walked almost everywhere, even to Santa Maria Novella church near the train station. The owner, Maurizio was a sweet man. He helped us with our taxi arrangements, recommended restaurants and went out of his way to find some information for us. Casetta Bonsi was roomy and comfortable and felt like home, a nice place to come home to every night. We loved Florence, the end to a perfect 3 week vacation in Italy. Recommended restaurants in the area: Casalinga, and the ones on the sheet Maurizio gives you. If you plan to visit at least 8 or so museums and churches, buy the Firenze pass, (at Door #2 of the Uffizi). You will skip the lines and it is well worth it!! Lisa at Italy Perfect was excellent, booking was easy and she provided a lot of valuable information for the Florence area. We would highly recommend Casetta Bonsi and we hope to return soon!!!"
