"The recommendations and services provided by Italy Perfect were first class. Easy to review properties, easy payment process, and responsive staff (especially Lisa which recommended this property). The property owner and his wife were wonderful hosts and their apartment was - well "Italy Perfect" . Thanks for making our vacation in Italy successful."

"We had the extreme pleasure of staying in the Medici for a week with friends. It is spacious, beautiful, and overlooks the historic Santa Croce piazza and the stunning Santa Croce Cathedral (which houses Michelangelo's, Machiavelli's, and Dante's (empty) tombs. A tall gorgeous statue of Dante presides out front on the right to make up for his absence inside. Exiled from Florence, he was welcomed in Ravenna where he is buried). The Uffizi is a five minute walk away, the Duomo about 10. Also, a 10 minute walk to Dante's house/museum, and a 20 minute walk across the Arno and upward to the right to Galileo's home. The Medici is filled with light and is equipped with a sumptuous kitchen/dining/living room, as well as a separate generous dining room. The beds are extremely comfortable. We'd gladly stay there again."

"Apartment was great for our family. Well located. Italy Perfect was full of good ideas and met our needs efficiently and pleasantly."

"Our adult family greatly enjoyed our stay at Zegno in Rome. We especially appreciated the welcome chat with our hostess, a deeply cultured, knowledgeable Roman woman who kindly introduced us to her city via an hour long chat. Her home is spacious, beautiful and perfectly situated for touring the ancient sites. Italy Perfect staff was most helpful in our planning. We have already recommended them to our friends. Internet service at the apartment is not perfect but adequate for routine needs."

"We were very pleased with the lovely Zegno apartment on the Spanish Steps. It was a spectacular location. The apartment was spacious, extremely well maintained and immaculate. I am very particular and generally stay in 5 star accommodations. The only knock I had was the owner needs to invest in more luxurious towels and bedding. We never played music on out iPhone once. We simply opened the windows to enjoy violin, jazz or opera. A true Italian experience. One other thing avail yourself of the concierge service available with the apartment. The concierge is a PhD art historian and author of 5 books as well as native Roman will guide you through the best of Rome without hassles and lines. She will focus on you or your family to customize an unforgettable experience which will leave you ready to plan your next trip All in all we had an amazing Roman holiday."

"Italy Perfect describes this apartment as "modest and affordable", and it worked just great for us. No surprises in our 4-day stay in this comfortable and functional place. The kitchenette built into a wardrobe was just great for making breakfast and warming meals. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the inside facing terrace. Franco provided the best recommendations for restaurants from any of our sources, and called to make reservations one night for us one night after his pick for steak Florentine turned us down saying they were full. The location was central for us to walk to all of our selected sites. We would stay here again and hope we have that opportunity."

"All eight of us were enchanted with "Mimi" and "Medici" in Florence. The apartments were lovely, comfortable, very well equipped. And Cecile and Greta took wonderful care of us. As I'm sure you know, the location is wonderful. I was one of the ones staying in "Mimi". I can't stop missing that terrace, with the views of the Duomo and Santa Croce and of the Tuscan hills, all to the sound of real (not recorded) church bells. "

"The five of us were spending a few days in Rome before we traveled to Tuscany. Hotels were so expensive and provided services we just didn't need, so we checked VRBO and discovered this perfect, perfect alternative. The apartment was huge, so well situated, and elegant. Living areas were comfortable and adequate, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The photos were spot-on. You should try this place! Fabulous!"

""Strozzi" is located close to everything. We were a 5-minute walk from the rental car office, and no more than 8 minutes on foot from the train station. Also, all of the major sites are within a very short walk from the apartment. Our hosts were friendly, efficient and very helpful. We followed their restaurant recommendations, and were very pleased. Both spots were steps away from the apartment and reasonably priced. The washing machine was much-needed and we appreciated having it, but the balcony or terrace advertised as perfect for hanging clothes was not so. We used the substantial drying rack found in the common utility room instead. It met our needs easily."

"A large, light, quiet apartment within a short walking distance of everything one wants to see in the old section of Florence and the train station. A big, workable kitchen, adequate bathroom, comfortable furnishings. The owners were very helpful - providing us with restaurant, travel and shopping information."

"We had a great stay at the Prisco apartment. Miki and Franco were extremely helpful. We look forward to returning."

"This small house was as good as we could possibly have hoped for our stay in Florence. The house itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and well-furnished. We particularly enjoyed the terrace on the second floor. There is a washing machine, which we used twice -- this is something any traveler will appreciate. The kitchen is small but quite functional. Our hosts were extremely welcoming. They gave us a bottle wine, fruit, some chocolates, and flowers, together with suggestions about restaurants, stores, and other things in the neighborhood. We had all the supplies we needed, and usually take for granted --- dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, tablets for the dishwasher. Great towels, too. The location was, for our purposes, ideal, in the Oltrarno, away from the dense concentrations of tourists in the Centro Storico. It is perhaps 300 meters from the Palazzo Pitti, 150 from the south end of the Ponte Vecchio, another 600 or 700 meters from the start of the walk to the Piazzale Michelangelo, and not far from the entrance to the Bardini Gardens, off the Via de Bardi. We found several outstanding restaurants and shops in the Oltrarno, some very close, others within easy walking distance. At night, other than the usual city noises, it was quiet. And since the house stands alone, on its own plot of ground, there were no residents above and below us. So -- a private house, on a quiet side street, in Florence, a few minutes' walk from the Uffizi, the Piazza della Signoria, from osterias and trattorias and restaurants that never fail to delight -- you could hardly do better. We have already recommended Italy Perfect to our friends and will continue to do so. Not everyone wants to travel as we do -- most of the people we know go on guided tours, with essentially everything arranged for them, lodging, transportation, meals. We prefer to travel on our own. We were particularly impressed with the information that Italy Perfect provided for us, about the house, the locality, telephones, travel tips, and recommendations. In short, we felt we were at home. When we returned to the house after a day in the city, and turned the key in the door, it was like coming home."

"The accommodation was just as we hoped - we couldn't fault it. Casetta Bonsi is ideally placed - very close to the Ponte Vecchio yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Not too much of a walk up the steepish road behind Casetta Bonsi are the Bardini Gardens which enjoy a beautiful view over Florence. As we stayed in Florence for almost two weeks we found the "Friends of the Uffizi" pass worked well. It allowed us to visit the Uffizi as many times as we wished. Entrance for "Friends" is through Door 2 and on the occasions we visited we went quickly through. Door 2 also leads to the "Friends" Office where the passes can be purchased. The pass also gives free access to the Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Bardini gardens, the Accademia and a number of other galleries. The Café "O" opposite the Sapori supermarket serves delicious coffee, sandwiches and cannolis. The price is not expensive unless you sit at the tables by the windows looking onto the Arno. Since arriving home we have recommended Casetta Bonsi and Italy Perfect to our friends."

"We loved the Michaela, the location was so central, and Miki and Franco were wonderful hosts. The apartment was perfect with lots of room to spread out. Highly recommended."

"This is the second time we have used Italy Perfect and once again, our apartment was wonderful. It was just as described, clean, conveniently located with friendly knowledgable greeters. We felt that the area was safe and we got everywhere in a short walk. Osteria Bella Donna and Pitti Gola e Cantina were both fabulous and in easy walking distance. I have already recommended Italy Perfect to my sisters and several friends!"

"We stayed at the pasquino apartment over the Easter break. We were thrilled with the location. It was an easy walk to anywhere and everywhere we wanted to go, the Vatican, campo dei fiori, piazza navona, Fontana di trevi, just to name a few. We especially loved the wide and great choice of restaurants in our immediate area. Our favourite was ristorante Pasquino. By far, one of the best ice creams we had was at Frigidarium, also, a very short walk from the apartment. Could it have been any more perfect? We miss being at "our apartment" and given the opportunity, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for your kind review, we love that neighborhood, too. Please come again! "Thank you for everything you kindly did for me (us), I fully enjoyed a short spring life in Firenze in this lovely and functional apartment. In Firenze I had amazing impressions at Uffizi, Piti, SMd Fiore, Michelangelo place, paintings by Rafaello, Leonard, Michelangelo, and other masterpieces. I found Trattoria Marione nearby is an excellent local place to savor Tuscan foods; antipasti salumi, pasta burro, riso asparagus, trippa, and bistek Florentine over glasses of Chianti Classico. I visited there twice for dinner in my 3-day stay :-) I am sure to return back, by the end of this year. See you again!"

"I am very happy that a friend recommended VRBO and then Italy Perfect to find accommodations for our trip to Firenze (Florence). We traveled there to see our daughter who is studying at Kent State University's Florence campus. Lisa from Italy Perfect was awesome to work with as we had lots of questions and she answered them all and helped us find the Casetta Bonsi. When we arrived at the Casetta, the owner Maurizio was there to greet us and give the tour and explain everything about our house to us. He was also very informative about the area. The Casetta was in a great location on the less busy south side of the Arno River a couple blocks from the Ponte Vecchio. There were lots of things to do and places to eat on our side of the river and everything we wanted to see was in close walking distance. Our house was very comfortable and much nicer and roomier than a hotel would have been. We highly recommend Italy Perfect and the Casetta Bonsi."

"The apartment is exactly as described. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are modern. The kitchen is adequate for warming take-out meals, though not for ambitious cooking. What the description leaves out are the apartment's two great assets: (1) The owners are friendly and extremely helpful in every way. For example, they gave us a ride to the train station. (2) The apartment is very conveniently located for sight-seeing, as well as for everyday needs. These is an excellent coffee shop right across from it, a small grocery store down the street, several widely recommended restaurants within two or three blocks, and the main train station a short walk away. We would definitely come back here."

"We were very pleased with the apartment. It was the perfect location - near to a lot of sights, shops, and the Arno - but on a side street that was very quiet. The interior courtyard view and the terrace were a big plus. And the frescoes were a treat too. A well-equipped kitchen and lots of towels and blankets were available. Elisabetta took us on a little walk the first day and showed us a good cafe and how to get to the supermarket - very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. The Italy Perfect Team"
