Casetta Bonsi

Casetta Bonsi

"Our stay at the Casetta Bonsi was once again, superb. Charming, comfortable, getaway that couldn't be in a better location. We have recommended it and your website to many others and intend to be back as soon as we can. Keep up the good work! You are the Best!"

"Our party of 8 loved the apartment. The location was perfect for all of the sights we wanted to see – we were basically able to walk everywhere – there was a grocery store nearby and lots of fabulous restaurants. The apartment was very clean – very well-maintained and beautifully decorated. We loved that it was stocked with great movies that were relative to the attractions of Rome. It offered privacy for our two families yet lots of room to congregate together. The apartment manager was so helpful and even greeted us at the apartment a few hours earlier than our scheduled arrival and had someone with him to unload all of our luggage. He also arranged for our transport to the airport when we left. All-in-all we found it to be perfect for the last leg of our vacation. We would highly recommend the apartment to friends."

"My husband and I stayed here on our first leg of a three leg trip to Italy. This apartment was perfect! It was so close to San Marco square with great restaurants and shops. The apartment has a great balcony that we used to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. You can see gondolas pass by and listen to the noises of the boats as they deliver their wares throughout the city. Our greeter was so helpful with information about the apartment and surrounding area. I would absolutely recommend this apartment and Italy Perfect!"

"Imagine sitting on your terrace in Florence overlooking Ponte Vecchio and all the activities on the street below! This was a fantastic apartment and was our favorite during our trip to Italy. The apartment was very large, clean, updated and provided everything our 2 kids and we needed, including a washer and dryer. It was in the heart of all the fantastic sites, great restaurants and shops. As an fyi....our favorite restaurant while in Florence was Vini e Vecchi Sapori. Also, Italy Perfect was great to work with for this trip. They even sent an email alert to notify us of an upcoming [railway] strike."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this Roman apartment. The location is within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Our family likes to walk a lot. We did take a train to the Vatican, but walked back. Other than that – we only took a car to the airport. Our host was awesome and recommended some great local places for us to go. The restaurant just down the street, “Life,” was really good. There is a Gelato place that wasn’t too far called Giolitti – we decided this was the best in Rome and went there everyday. There was a grocery store not far, we picked up our breakfast foods there and just made that in the apartment. The kitchen was pretty small so we had lunches and dinners out. This was towards the end of our trip so we were starting to cut cost back a little bit. There are a few sandwich places nearby that were really good and pretty inexpensive (we are a family of 5). Loved this area and would definitely stay here again!"

"Apartment Strozzi was wonderful! Very nicely located within walking distance of everything: restaurants, shopping, and the train station. Very clean and a good size and the hosts were super. Would highly recommend this apartment when you are visiting Florence."

"The Michaela was perfect for the three of us! We LOVED the convenient location and relaxing atmosphere of the apartment. It was nice to have two bathrooms and the kitchen was perfect for our breakfast & light meals at home. We can't wait to go back and we are already planning our vacation for next year, to stay in the Michaela again."

"My friend and I stayed here for a week and loved the spaciousness and Old World charm. We walked everywhere, as the location was perfect. We often bought fruit and cheeses, or prosciutto and melon, at the big market near the Duomo and had leisurely breakfasts in our rooms. We especially enjoyed being able to open all the windows to enjoy the sounds of the city, and then to close them and turn on the very quiet and efficient AC when we wanted to sleep."

Casetta Bonsi

Casetta Bonsi

"We loved staying at Casetta Bonsi. Ideally located to see all of Florence--the central squares as well as the L'Oltrarno. Maurizio was the perfect host with lots of suggestions of where to visit, eat, sightsee. Loved the restaurants recommended by him, particularly Il Bordino. The furniture in the Casetta was particularly nice--wonderful wood armoires and cabinets. The bed was very comfortable (as was the pull-out couch.) Our only minor complaint was that the pillows are too foamy--would be great to get some softer ones. We would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to a friend!"

"We were six long time friends looking for a place to stay in Florence...we stumbled upon your website and it was smooth sailing from that day. We contacted Italy Perfect, told them we needed (3)bedrooms &(3)baths they recommended the S.Croce Medici and it was PERFECT...Italy PERFECT. The location is terrific, the apartment is spectacular but do not use the washing machine...it takes forever. It is a true experience to stay in an apartment in Florence. We would go back in a heart beat and have already recommended it to other friends. Thank you for the best week. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. A long washing machine cycle is normal for Italy, up to 90 minutes, because the water is heated internally.  "

"Nicely appointment apartment in an ideal part of town. Great location, next to all of the attractions, train station, and importantly for us, local fare, a salumeria, fornaio and produce and fruit purveyor. Bedroom has a soundproof door which is need given the central location. Miki and Franco are wonderful, treating us like long time friends. Would definitely recommend."

"The apartment was much bigger than I had imagined, which was great. It was super hot in Rome when we arrived so it was wonderful to walk into an air-conditioned space. Our greeter was fantastic and super helpful. The location was perfect. We travelled with two children - one of whom was 3 - so being centrally located was key for us. There was a grocery store down a block or so away, and the Campo di Fiori was very close too. It was wonderful to have some food at home for the little ones. I would definitely recommend Italy Perfect (and have already done so) to friends. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating through the whole process. Two tips - Italy Perfect had recommended we bring face clothes and extra shampoo, conditioner, etc., and while I could have gotten it there, bringing it saved some hassle."

"I grew up in Rome, and have been back often since leaving but I can say that I discovered a new Rome during our stay at the Pasquino. This time I came with my daughter to introduce my two grandsons and my daughter-in-law to my family and my city. We walked everywhere. The location was great and our greeter, Stanislau very helpful. The apartment comfortable, clean and well equipped. Double pane windows very appreciated with the noise from the local restaurants and A/C that worked. We loved the Nespresso coffee machine that made us start the day bright and early. Campo de Fiori market was a daily stop for preparing lunch at home. Piazza Navona was great for a gelato after dinner out. I would recommend Italy Perfect and I will use it again for my next visit. Thank you, Isabella"

"Prisco apartment is very centrally located. It is close to many sites and a short walk to cross the Arno on the Santa Trinita bridge. We were able to walk everywhere. Because it is so centrally located it is in a very noisy busy area. The apartment has heavy windows and a double door system for the balcony. It keeps out most of the noise very well. The trade off is the windows and doors have to be kept shut for it to be quiet inside. The hosts are the owners and take great pride in their apartment. It is large, lovely and decorated with many personal touches. One of the owners actually grew up in the apartment when it included the entire second floor. Our orientation by the owners was very thorough but it was hard to remember everything. A notebook with diagrams about how to work such things as the oven, which is tricky, and the TV, etc would be helpful. We never could figure them out. We enjoyed our stay in Prisco and would recommend it if someone wanted to stay close to the action and didn't mind keeping the doors and windows closed all the time."

Memoria

"I am well traveled thru Europe and have had some wonderful experiences. My week at the Memoria may have been the best ever. Our greeter was knowledgable and professional. The apartment was spectacular. The location was perfect, with a great market just across the bridge. Almost sounds too good to be true. Just see for yourself. While in Florence don't miss the pharmacia [Officina Profumo Farmacia Santa Maria Novella]. A place you may not be aware of but a must see."

"This was our first experience renting in Europe. It couldn't have been better. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, very roomy and accommodating. It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The location was ideal. Quite close to all the major sights in Florence and on a quiet street adjacent to a busy square. There are numerous restaurants in the area and grocery shopping was a short walk away. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation. Thanks so much, Steven, for enjoying this apartment for all its fine features! ItalyPerfect Team "

"The apartment was wonderful.Very comfortable.Kitchen had everything that we needed.Plus air conditioning. Location couldn't of been better. Pat was great to work with. She really took care of all of our questions and made it so easy for us.The plaza was hosting the historical game of the “Calcio in Costume” (Historical Soccer Game)on the day of our arrival. We were met by the apartment management-our apartment faced the courtyard-not the plaza- which worked out great.Less noise. They let us watch the game from another apartment facing the plaza.Everything was within walking distance.Grocery just down the street. Can't go wrong with the apartment or working with Italy Perfect."

Memoria

"The Memoria property was well maintained, clean and had everything needed in stock. Although there were only two of us we enjoyed our space and separate bedrooms. Being there for a month gave us the freedom to travel around Italy by rail without lugging suitcases and having a comfortable place to come 'home' to. The washer, dryer, iron were a plus. Linens and bathrobes. Dishwasher, stove all worked well, lots of dishes, implements etc. Isabelle checked us in, great gal and excellent resource for information. Wall safe, elevator small but great to have. It can be a little noisy at times but who cares, you're in Florence. Best gelato right downstairs. Italy Perfect this time, Paris Perfect next."

Tesoro

"Staying in Tesoro apartment was disappointing. Without wanting to be rude as this is clearly someone's home, it was not really suitable as a holiday rental. It was quite dark and poorly furnished and nowhere really relaxing to sit. The room where the TV was positioned was very uncomfortable. Bathrooms were fine although the bed, being on a platform, was strange if you got up and forgot. The frescoes were interesting. The surrounding streets were barricaded off during part of our stay due to the calcio storica being held, it would have been helpful to be aware of this as we did have some problems getting thoroughness e evenings. We are sorry that this guest was disappointed. We have represented this apartment for nearly 10 years. It is furnished and decorated as a Florentine home to reflect the art and interest of the city, but no one lives in it other than vacationers. Although it has a unique and personal feel, it is not someone's home. The furnishings are as depicted in the photos and video. We are sorry this guest did not find the furniture comfortable and overlooked the information in the description that describes it as a platform bed and as shown in both the photo tour & video. We will make a note to remind future guests about the historic soccer (calcio storico) held on 3 weekends in nearby Piazza Santa Croce every June."

"We had a fabulous time in Firenze thanks to Italy Perfect and Maurizio and his wife. It was my first time in Europe and I was very nervous about arrival, getting around, etc. but Maurizio was clocking our plane's arrival and he contacted me before I got off the plane. Everything went prefectly. We loved the house and neighborhood. We even met another client of yours as he walked by on day while in Firenze to take in old memories, a college arts professor/travel group leader from Florida and England. He loves the place too. We hope to return to Florence sooner rather than later. Until then, ciao and grazie!"
