"The Strozzi apartment is a lovely apartment with a perfect location. Located close to Republica Square and the Duomo, this apartment is a great value. The building is historic, yet up to date with all the necessities. The greeters were warm and wonderful. Would stay here again if ever in Florence."

"Casetta Bonsi is a beautiful typical florentine house. We were very happy to have chosen this immaculate townhouse. Our hosts were wonderful people who greeted us at the property with a bottle of Chianti wine, a bowl of fruit, gelato in the freezer and three welcoming chocolates next to the bed with a handwritten note welcoming us to Florence. What a beautiful and gracious details. The house is located in the best area of Florence walking distance to everything. I would definitely recommend renting this property and if I go back to Florence will definitely be renting Casetta Bonsi again."

"Thank you for making this a most memorable trip of a lifetime. The apartment was absolutely as fabulous as the pictures. The location was great, very convenient and off the normal tourist track. It was an easy walk to St. Peter's, the Piazza de Populo, The Corso and so on. We had no problem finding a grocery and ample shopping and restaurants. We were also impressed with our promptness of our greeters and we also used Rocco for our hired ride services. We even did a day trip to Assissi which all of us would highly recommend. We will continue to book with Italy Perfect and recommend it to our friends. Arrivederci!! Mary and John"

"The whole operation was classy. We received very useful information from Italy Perfect before we left. The greeters were prompt and gave us information that was helpful in operating the appliances, trash locks etc. The location was perfect. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and 8 minutes to the train station and about 5 minutes to our favorite gellato shop. We walked everywhere and took some day trips to Luccia, Pisa and Siena. We were in Florence for 8 days. The trip was terrific and the apartment was an important part of it."

"The accommodation was clean and well appointed and was really comfortable for the two of us. Our hosts gave us a most friendly welcome, taking the time to explain the local area, the important shops, recommended restaurants and historic sites and were available to help with any questions and problems throughout. The situation of the apartment was ideal and within minutes walking distance from the main museums, grand squares and beautiful bridges and vistas of the city. This is vital for anyone who, like my wife, has an issue with energy. Also nearby we found a range of excellent ostarias and restaurants, some very reasonably priced considering the excellent quality of the food (Florentine specialty steak at La Cantinetta, etc.). Of course there is the gelaterie – plenty to choose from but the best quality is not served from the mountainous heaps of ice cream on display everywhere but from those parlours that have the ice cream in covered containers or stored “low” in open containers. The best for us was the organic ice cream in home-made waffle cones from Edoardo right near the Duomo. Also, try the ice cream from the gelataria on the corner at the south side of the ponte San. Trinita. And don’t forget the truffle rolls from the shop just around the corner from the apartment – Franco will show you where. And do go to the Boboli Gardens and see the glorious view across the city and also find the oranges and lemons growing in La Limonaia. Oh, we could go on and on. There is one sad note however. The scourge of lovelocks has hit Florence and we not only found them on the Ponte Vecchio but also on the wonderful bronze “Porcellino” statue and fountain on the end of the Mercato Nuovo. We stopped two sets of people from attaching these wretched things and reported it to the police nearby – it is against the local bylaws and there is a fine. We implore all visitors not to take part in these acts of vandalism and also to report any you see. What a strange way to show eternal love by physically locking it in and throwing the key into the river only to add to the already polluted waters of this world. You just can’t beat a beautiful bunch of flowers (and perhaps a pair of ladies shoes made in Florence!) This is the third time we have used Italy Perfect. Before we booked with them the first time we were a little concerned as we are in the UK and the company is in the US – there are lots of holiday scams around. But we had no need to worry. No one could have looked after us better than Lisa and Pat and their team. Everything was thoroughly planned and efficiently run with plenty of useful information provided and all of the necessary detail for enjoying a holiday in Italy. We have had two wonderful holidays in Venice with them and this, our first in Florence. So we are renaming “Italy Perfect” to be “Utterly Perfect”! Thank you Lisa and Pat."

"I want to thank you for making our trip to Florence a truly memorable experience. Our accommodations at the Palazzo exceeded expectations and the terrace was just an amazing place to relax, read and enjoy (with some frequency) the fine Tuscan wines. Francesca met us and gave a very a gracious welcome and gave us lots of helpful tips about the area. Thank you also for the wonderful welcome basket of Italian goodies…very thoughtful. FYI - we booked 2 day trips with Florence Limousine Service to Siena/Wine Country/San Gimignano and to Pisa and Forti Di Marmi where we had lunch at a wonderful restaurant on the Mediterranean. Francesco (our driver) was knowledgeable, prompt and made the trips most enjoyable. [Thank you so much, Mark. It was a pleasure. The Italy Perfect Team]"

"Our 6 night stay in Florence was wonderful, thanks in large part to our stay in Prisco - a clean, bright, spacious, and well-appointed apartment that was no more than a 30 minute walk to all of old-world Florence's major sites. Our lovely Italian hosts Mikki and Franco welcomed us with a helpful orientation, a bottle of chianti, and spot-on recommendations for restaurants and city sites. The 3rd floor apartment on a lovely cobblestone street had everything we needed, and everything, including the elevator, washing machine and all of the small appliances worked well. We quickly settled in as part of the neighborhood and relished the fact that we could walk the city for hours and come back to "our own place" to lunch on the cheeses, fresh fruit, bread and prosciutto that we bought at the central market earlier that day,(a must stop if you are a foody.) The size of the apartment was more than adequate for the two of us and could easily accommodate a family, (the bedroom alone at 16 x 20 was the size of many studios). With the tall windows open we could let in the sounds of the city which included the every present motor scooters and the chatter of folks strolling around. Thankfully, a sound-proofing full glass door in the small bedroom balcony window reduced most to the street noise at night. We found the Italy Perfect folks a pleasure to work with. The rental process was simple and straightforward, and we found the information they provided to help prepare us for the trip invaluable. We would highly recommend both Italy Perfect and the Prisco apartment and look forward to renting from them again when we return to Florence. Dennis & Helen"

"Our apartment was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and well equipped. It was located in a historic palazzo turned into apartments on the Piazza Santa Croce. Our interests were in history, art, and architecture so the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and even manage one of our party in a wheelchair. There is a "super" market a few blocks away for anything from staples to fine wine. We ate well everyday in a restaurant near our morning excursions, so all over the historic area. Food was great everywhere. Our travel companions are world-class consumers of gelato and give world-class honors to the small gelateria around the corner, facing the convent associated with Santa Croce. The folks at Italy Perfect were very helpful. And, yes, I would certainly seek them out again and recommend them to friends."

"Prisco is a very nice apartment with a spacious bedroom and a large living area where we relaxed and watched English-language TV newscasts in the evenings. Although situated on the 3rd floor (4th USA) of a nice old building, the quiet elevator eliminated any need for us to climb stairs. The owners were exceptionally accommodating, allowing us to check-in much earlier than planned. They took time to explain everything we needed to know about using the apartment and recommended excellent restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. They also went out of their way to locate and personally deliver our luggage which the airline lost on arrival. Check-out was arranged the night before we departed so that we could catch an early flight the following morning. Prisco is located about 100 feet from Via Tornabuoni, the most elegant shopping street in Florence. All major tourist sites were within easy walking distance so we covered a lot of ground during our two-week stay. With the main train/bus station only a few blocks away, we found it extremely convenient to make day trips to many other Tuscan towns. Italy Perfect is a well-run online organization. Lisa, our contact, provided very useful information about visiting Florence and promptly resolved all booking issues. We have since recommended Italy Perfect to friends and look forward to our next Perfect vacation."

Casetta Bonsi

"Our experience with Italy Perfect was exceptional from the start. So many little hints for making one's stay great were just part of the usual process of renting! The Casetta Bonsi is a lovely house, on a sweet little street, close to everything. We never used a cab except to get to the airport - and Maurizio arranged that for us, so the cab was at our doorstep, ready to go right on time. Maurizio was very nice and helpful and welcoming. . .a great host. We loved staying on the Oltrano side of the river. We went for morning runs along the Arno, walked everywhere, and were able to easily see all parts of Florence without a car or cab. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!"

"Just wanted you to know how much we loved staying in the Casetta Bonsi. We thought the house was adorable and loved its location in a real neighborhood. The living room was attractive and cozy, and the kitchen was well equipped, except that there could be a few more wine glasses. We didn’t cook in the house, and only used the stove to boil water for tea, but there were plenty of pots and pans and enough workspace had we decided to cook meals there. The dishwasher worked well the one time we used it. During a hot spell in Florence, the house remained cool and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well lit, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The little terrace was a wonderful place to sit and read and enjoy the view of the Palazzo Vecchio tower. Our only noise issue was the sound of motorcycles parked near the front door starting up in the morning, but we adjusted once we were over our jet lag. Maurizio could not have been a more gracious and accommodating host. We very much appreciated the gift of wine, cookies and fruit that were waiting for us in the house, along with all the information on visiting Florence. The one problem we had was finding a puddle of water by the washing machine one morning. We contacted Maurizio, and he had the situation (new washer had not been connected properly) corrected within 48 hours. We used the washer the next day, and there were no more leaks. Maurizio’s suggestions for restaurants were wonderful. We tried most of them, and especially loved Cinghiale Bianco, where we enjoyed two great dinners. We had breakfast every morning at the Open Bar, down the hill from the house, and within a few days we were recognized as regulars. Most of all, it was a treat leaving the tourist hordes behind and coming back up the hill every day to our own little house. We look forward to a return visit in the future. We were also very impressed with Italy Perfect and plan to use you again for our next trip to Italy. Thanks so much for providing such a great service."

"The Pasquino Property was everything advertised and then some. My family of 5 felt completely comfortable, like a home away from home. We could leave the apartment and walk anywhere in Rome. Piazza Novona being in our backyard. Even better all financial transactions we're completed in U.S. Dollars and well ahead of our arrival. This is unlike some rentals that want a wad of local currency in hand when you arrive. Lisa answered all of our questions before we arrived, and our greeter answered all local questions. Stephano Car was a great service, grabbed our bags and took us right from the airport to our apartment, and was waiting outside the door when we left for home. I highly recommend Italy Perfect to anyone."

"We have stayed here before, and as always, the hosts were welcoming and helpful and the accomodations were very comfortable. The location is perfect, a short walk to the center, museums and the Arno, and there's a great café for your morning cappuccino and brioche right across the street. The area has many elegant shops and good restaurants nearby, so over-all a very good experience. I would definitely recommend these accommodations and Italy Perfect to friends."

"We had a wonderful time at the Prisco apartment ! The location was perfect and the greeters were wonderful! Everything was as advertised. Large, bright, centrally located flat with all you need to be comfortable. We read the reviews and anticipated it would be noisy do we're not surprised but once you closed the shutters in the bedroom you can sleep comfortably. We look forward to returning in the future."

"The Pasquino apartment, near Piazza Navona, is a beautifully furnished apartment with plenty of space that is very well kept. But its main advantage is its spectacular location, such that all of the major sites in Rome are within walking distance, while the apartment itself is very quiet. Given that much of the interesting activity in Rome happens fairly late in the evening by our standards, it was nice to go straight from being at the heart of activity to bed in only a few minutes. Baffetto Pizzeria, nearby, is excellent for very reasonable quality pizza (better than some of the other local tourist traps) but always has a queue - suggest turning up at opening time. The gelateria opposite it (Frigidarium) was the best we found in Rome, but it appears that others have found it too as it also often has queues. I strolled each morning to Il Fornaio (the bakery just on the other side of the main road) to pick up pastries for breakfast, and by the third visit they were recognising me and treating me as a regular, which is always nice. The presence of a nespresso machine in the apartment was greatly appreciated. Finally, there was some necessary building maintenance done during the period we stayed, but Italy Perfect kept in touch with us about what was going on and worked hard to make sure we weren't put out by this. Overall, strong recommend."

"We had a great vacation in Rome! We traveled with our three sons ages 12, 15 and 18 and had plenty of room. The main living area is very roomy and has a big dining table. The kitchen was tiny and there was no oven but we were able to make breakfast every day and a few simple dinners. There were many restaurants in the area and a grocery store only a few blocks away. Remember that you are right in the thick of the action so it was a little bit noisy at night so maybe bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Our greeter was fabulous and answered all of our questions and even gave us her cell phone for if we had more. We really had no complaints though note that the bathroom (the main one) only has a hand held shower in a tub which took some getting used to. Water pressure was great. The bathroom with a toilet and a sink is so tiny you can barely turn around but it so nice to have two toilets and two sinks. Thanks for a great stay."

"This four-bedroom, three-bath apartment is spacious, well-furnished, and lovely. Everything was perfect. We especially liked the neighborhood -- close enough to walk to all the sites but not touristy. There are many wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. We especially liked Romeo and a family run restaurant next door to Romeo on Via Silla. [Thank you so much for your kind review and nice restaurant recommendations, too. The Italy Perfect Team]"
