"You just couldn't be more in the middle of the action in Florence. It's an easy ten minute walk from the train station and one step out the door and you're surrounded by cafes, restaurants and very upscale shopping. We spent our days roaming the streets of Florence visiting churches and galleries, sunsets along the river and evenings rooting out great food and wine. Osteria Pastella, a couple blocks up the street is not to be missed. Our favorite was All Antico Vinaio, just down the street past the Uffizi where you can have a great dinner at night or the best sandwiches in Florence during the day. Miki and Franco were wonderful hosts. They are very thorough with the use of the apartment and building. Italy Perfect is very business-like and provides a lot of information. The apartment is well appointed with two balconies on the courtyard side, a washing machine, king size bed, high ceilings, large bathroom and attractive furnishings--even a kitchen in a cabinet. We only used the kitchen for breakfasts and it was perfectly adequate for that. Some simple cooking would be possible. Negatives? The Wi-Fi was off and on as was the hot water in the shower. Make sure Franco shows you how to adjust the water pressure. We thought getting charged 8-euros for an extra set of towels for a 5-night stay was a little petty. We didn't have arrival times until a few days before and the rental agent got a little intense about our schedule. All minor as far as we're concerned so we would certainly stay at this apartment if we re-visit Florence. [We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay, thank you! Sorry you didn't agree with the extra towel fee, it's common practice in Italy where laundry costs are so high and was part of the information on your arrival page. Apologies we had to follow up with you so many times to get your arrival information, but there is not a full time employee waiting at the apartment all day; the greeter has to be scheduled in advance to ensure you can check in when you arrive. We're glad we got your information last minute so that someone was available when you arrived. The Italy Perfect Team]"

We highly recommend the Michaela apartment for your stay in Florence. Located in the center of an elegant shopping district, yet a few blocks from the historic Duomo & surrounded by local shops, restaurants & markets .... What could be better? Our hosts greeted us warmly & oriented us to everything about the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment has everything you might need for a lovely stay.

"This is our fifth trip to Bucine and as always we were welcomed and treated royally. We come off season, so we were the only guests at this time, it was very quiet and private. The apartment we rented is for two people and is just perfect with a small fireplace, adequate kitchen with a stove and oven. It is very clean and very well maintained. The staff is always available if you have questions and they have good recommendations. There are many hiking trails if you like that sort of thing, and Florence is and Arezzo are a 30 minute drive away, Cortona is about 45 minutes away. I would recommend shopping in the small shops in downtown Bucine, you need to check the store hours, but they have an excellent meat market and fruit and vegetable market. The Coop store at the top of the hill is not that great. We will definitely return, hopefully next fall. [We so appreciate your repeat business and your fondness for Bucine! The Italy Perfect Team]"

For four weeks I stayed in the Palazzo Santa Croce in Firenze in a beautiful apartment on the third floor with a charming sitting room, large southern exposed terrace, small but superb kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The owners of the Palazzo had left nothing to chance; everything was perfect, nothing was missing. It was a joy to return to such lovely surroundings every day. "This was a great apartment excellently situated for walking to any site in the city center. We prefer not to eat out every night, and the apartment was perfect for those evenings: the kitchen was very well equipped, the living room was comfortably furnished, and there was ample lighting for reading. In addition, the apartment was immaculate and Maurizio was exceedingly helpful when we called him with questions.This was perhaps the best rental we've ever had in many years of travel in Italy."

"My wife and I spent three days in Florence at the end of October 2015 and stayed at the Strozzi apartment (We paid for four nights but because of a change in our return flight, we were only able to stay for three). The delightful owners, Miki and Franco greeted us on arrival and spent plenty of time showing us how everything worked. Franco also took me for a walk through the neighbourhood and pointed out places to buy food and restaurants to visit. He sent us to Osteria di Giovanni which he said was in his opinion the best restaurant in Florence - it was superb. Franco also arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 4:45am for an early flight. The apartment is somewhat eccentric in its layout but it was nonetheless charming. It is right in the centre of the places that tourist most want to visit - just four or five minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo and slightly farther to the Uffizi. We would love to return some time."

"I enjoyed staying in this charming apartment. This place is very central and yet shielded from traffic noise. Piazza Navona is around a corner with many touristy restaurants. Food markets are near by as well. As far as the apartment is concerned it's a little dated and would benefit from a minor facelift. Caretaker is very quick to address your concerns. We were very pleased with our stay at the Vespucci apartment while in Florence. The apartment is very spacious, light, bright and clean. Located in a great area near the river we had no trouble getting from place to place. Our greeter was wonderful. She is very organized and helpful. She had loads of information we could take advantage of......such as emergency numbers, restaurants, taxi numbers and many maps and books on the area. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Florence. I would also recommend Italy Perfect!! They were easy to work with and supplied much needed information about Italy. It was very helpful, especially for a first timer.

"This is a large, tastefully decorated apartment that my husband and I shared with my sister and brother-in-law. Overall we very much enjoyed the accommodations and found the place to be comfortable and peaceful. The location is fantastic. We walked almost everywhere, and the metro was a short walk away for the few times we took public transit. I highly recommend the Borghese Gallery in the Villa Borghese gardens; it was one of the highlights of our trip and within walking distance of the apartment. Just be aware that tickets must be purchased in advance, either at the ticket office or online. I found Italy Perfect to be very easy to work with and there were no issues with the property reservations. The information they provided was extremely detailed and up-to-date. I would most definitely use Italy Perfect again, and will recommend their service to my friends and family."

"The condo is very convenient but remember you are in Venice. We were very satisfied with the accommodations. The only thing I would suggest is to upgrade the pillows. Easy access to the main attractions and our host was extremely helpful. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!"

"Never having visited Italy or Tuscany before, the vast beauty was overwhelming. The remote nature of Tenuta Lupinari only enhanced that sense. The accomomdations were not only adequate but difficult to describe even with picture to our friends and family here in the U.S. We were treated with great respect by the stafff. We had several requests and they were attended to immediately and with gentleness and concern. It woud have been to our advantage to have used their restaurant facitlies more than we did. Going to other locations, for instance nearby Ambra opened up numerous excellent dining choices, but missing the special cooking at Lupinari is our loss. Next time! I have previously commented that by coming at the beginnin gof the low season meant that for four of our seven days we were the only guests. This allowed the staff more flexibiity but also left us isolated betweeen 9 pm and 9 am. Nothing like utter silence and darkness away from everything and everybody to spark one's imagination of 'creepy things in the night.' Our day trips to Montapulciano, Montalcino, Venice, Florence, Sienna and Orvieto were made with ease, especially from the Bucine Train Station.. (a ticket machine, no staff there, but many trains throughout the day to make it convenient.) There are two vineyards within a short and easy drive that we would highly recommend for atmosphere, wine tasting and local conversation--Fattoria Casabianca Agriturismo, Miglarina, and a third, Felsina. Il campo in Sienna is a surprise treat among the many delights of Tuscany. Thumbs up to Italy Perfect! Thx"

"We had a wonderful time. The apartment was perfect for our group of six women. Two had their own bedrooms and that worked out very well. We were able to walk to the Vatican and there were several nice restaurants close to the apartment. The beds were great and all the bathrooms had been updated. Pat from Italy Perfect helped us find transportation from the airport and the check in/out process was seamless. Pat was so helpful and gave us many ideas about packing, restaurants and transportation. I would highly recommend this apartment and Pat from Italy Perfect.
