"Casetta Bonsi is exactly as shown in the pictures. it is more like a 1 bedroom house. Maurizio is a fabulous host. I called Maurizio from the airport and he beat me to the apartment even though my taxi only took 20 minutes. I was cold the first morning I got to the Casetta so Maurizio came back and programmed the heat to come on in the morning and evening hours. Maurizio booked a cab for me when I left to go to the train station. I left my passport in the safe box (it is is in the Laundry room so don't forget like I did). I paid for Maurizio's taxi and he came to Santa Maria Novella to give it to me. Pretty fantastic service. The upstairs patio is lovely for a sunset view of the Palazzo Vecchio bell tower. The hill to the Casetta is short less than 100 meters but steep so I am not sure I would recommend it for folks over 70-75 unless you are in great shape. I am 65 and I was certainly winded the first time I did the hill. Each succeeding time was easier. Florence is fantastic and it is a fairly easy walk to all the great sights. Lisa at Italy Perfect was very helpful too."

"We had the MOST wonderful week in Tuscany thanks in large part to the beautiful accommodations at Bucine - Il Poggio. The owners welcomed us and Antoinella and Angela made us feel right at home. We were originally going to stay in the "Limonaia" but the owners recommended that for our group, we might be more comfortable in Il Poggio. Both would have been fine! The place is beautiful. We had delicious breakfasts every day prepared by Angela and an entertaining cooking class given by Antoinella. Great location to get a real feel for Tuscany, the vineyards, olive oil and medieval villages. Definitely need a car! Highly recommended, would love to go back soon! Thank you so much! Grazie!"

"This apartment was a wonderful home base to explore Rome for five days. The apartment was large and comfortably accommodated our family of four. Situated near Piazza Navona in the historic center of Rome, we could walk everywhere to all the main sites.Il Fornaio (bakery), Frigidarium (gelato) and Baffetto (pizzeria), all very good and close by. The outdoor market at Campo de Fiori was fun to explore in the morning, before most tourists awoke. We would highly recommend Carolina of Your Rome Experience for a private tour of the Vatican Museum. An art historian, she focused on the main highlights of the Vatican collection and provided invaluable insight on the art. We would highly recommend this apartment and Italy Perfect. Pat and Lisa handled every detail, and were wonderful to work with!"

"This charming apartment was perfect for our family of four! Centrally located off Piazza Santa Croce, we walked everywhere and returned at the end of each day to our "home away from home". Good restaurants close by (Boccadama and Osteria de Benci) and the Santa Croce Church is truly impressive with its tombs and frescoes. We would not hesitate to return to this apartment and highly recommend Italy Perfect. Thanks to Pat and Lisa for providing such a warm and welcoming accommodation and for being such a great resource of information!"

"We enjoyed a 10 night stay in Florence in this large apartment. The location is absolutely wonderful, a couple of blocks from the river and a view of Ponte Vecchio, a few blocks from Il Duomo. Art everywhere, restaurants, coffee, the best shopping (high end anyway) in Florence. Live like a local. The apartment is up a few flights of stairs, or via a small, but convenient lift. Several sets of keys to get to the digs, as it is one of 3 cut from an older, very large apartment. Lovely host and hostess meet and tour the apartment, and are easily available during your visit to arrange things or answer questions. Their English is not very good, but they are very communicative and fun to speak with. Furnishings are far from antique or high quality, but are functional. The outside of the building is getting a makeover, particularly the roof, so there were workers during the day. The inside is also getting some work, and the lobby is dusty and has concrete bags laying around. We discovered, deep in the night one evening, that there is a bakery in the basement of the building. It was quite noisy, but less noisy after the host/hostess spoke to them the next day We kept windows closed, and used a "white noise" feature on phone from them on. This is living like a local, and we much preferred to a hotel, particularly for the cost and the space we enjoyed. We would return. Ciao! [Thank you for your feedback & so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry for the temporary construction work that is taking place this summer to repair the roof and that the bakery was noisy one night but glad you brought it to our attention so the owner could intercede and speak with the bakery manager. "It took us an extra half hour to find the apartment (the water taxi stop was closer than we expected), but our greeter waited for us and gave us a fantastic intro to the neighborhood including a good wine bar just a few steps away. The apartment is much larger than we expected. The kitchen is *fully* equipped. The decor includes gorgeous funky antiques. (I'd never put them in a rental, but they were great.) The location was ideal. Venice isn't a large city and you can walk most places, but this is only a few blocks from St, Marks and the major vaporetto stops. The highlight might be the deck off the living room that overlooks a small but busy canal intersection. Great for coffee in the morning or a bottle of Amarone in the evening. We were super impressed with all the helpful info we received from Italy Perfect. Lots of pages, so save it on your iPad. (There's also a copy in the apartment.) The washing machine off the lobby is perhaps the only weak spot, but we didn't need to use it anyway. Bottom line: if we return to Venice, we'll ask for Serenata again. [So nice to enjoy through your eyes! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"The apartment is beautiful, immaculate, perfectly located, and well-stocked. Prepare for a lengthy check-in process with very detailed instructions. As a result of the excellent apartment overview by our greeter, Paola, we experienced no issues or questions during our stay. We were grateful for the attention to detail and all of her tips and tricks. The documents you receive prior to check-in may seem a little overwhelming, but do yourself a favor and at least review them prior to your arrival. They may very well save you time and money on your vacation. Upon check-in, Paola was an excellent Venetian resource for nearby shops and services. Unfortunately it was so hot and humid in Venice during our stay that we were unable to leave the windows open in the apartment during the daytime to enjoy the view and the ambience of the canals. The AC had not been turned on by building management yet, so we had to leave the windows shuttered when the sun was up. The portable fan helped make the apartment bearable, and we weren't there very much during the daytime anyway. We hope this apartment stays on the rental market for a long time so we can visit again someday (next time NOT in Mid-June). We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends. We feel that Italy Perfect goes above and beyond in all areas to ensure the best experience for their guests! [Thank you! Sorry the a/c wasn't turned on in May. The Italy Perfect Team]"

"Just a quick note to let you know that we just loved the apartment - totally comfortable, beautiful and so well stocked for the guests. Spectacular location. A wonderful choice. Also everything worked smoothly with Nancy, the greeter and with Stefano and Marco. We are thrilled with our trip and with all the help you provided. Thank you!"

"Our eight day stay at the Michaela immeasurably added to our enjoyable visit to Florence. As advertised the apartment was conveniently located near all the great city sites yet was still accessible to many fine local dining choices. We had booked a walking tour well in advance and were pleasantly surprised that we were to meet our tour guide only 100 yards up the street at Piazza Stroza. Talk about convenient. The apt was roomy and we especially liked having two nicely appointed bathrooms. Only draw back was the English speaking channels on TV were few and limited to news programs. This was off-set by being able to stream Netflix and proved a minor shortfall since we usually returned home well fed and content after long days walking the beautiful city and there little need for a TV. We highly recommend Italy Perfect for a warm local experience. Would love to come back for another extended stay."

"The central location of Palazzo Santa Croce can't be beat! And the history surrounding the building and the frescoes is so interesting! We originally booked Santa Croce Paradiso but, since my husband is a very light sleeper, found that the revelers in the Piazza were too boisterous for us to sleep well. We approached the managers - as well as copying Pat on our email - and they could NOT have been more lovely or helpful in providing us with an alternative. We moved to the Belvedere and were thrilled with it! It doesn't look over the Piazza, which was just fine with us, but it has a southerly facing terrace and was extremely quiet. Not to mention darling! Love the colors. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the apartment has everything one needs for a lovely holiday. It was clean and well appointed. And the appliances all worked well. It's clear the owners manage this building with great care. The restaurant directly downstairs, Boccadama, is pretty good and the workers are extremely pleasant. One night we ordered pizza from them and they let us take the dishes up to our terrace so we could dine privately - we just had to return everything the next day! Also, Boutique Nadine was a great little find. And Osteria dei Benci is fantastic at lunch. I would definitley recommend Italy Perfect! Pat was a complete joy to work with! [Thank you so much, Jann. It was great to work with you! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"Memoria was a prefect apartment for three of us for one week. The location is perfect and the view...cannot be adequately described. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, spacious, adequately appointed (including an operating WIFI, a washer and a dryer) and the balcony is a joy.Italy Perfect was easy to work with during the rental procedure. Our greeter was on time to meet us and provided a simple, yet full orientation to the apartment and the operations of the various items therein. She was also very responsive helping to take care of a minor issue that occurred during our stay. For those planning a week or longer stay in Florence, I cannot imagine a better property."

"We greatly enjoyed the Serenata. The view of the canal below from the windows and the deck was constantly entertaining. Not only the gondolas passing by, but the barges delivering goods early in the morning and even the trash collection barges were fascinating. The location is perfect. Close to San Marco, but also easy to skirt the crowds. To get around, you need a good large scale map, rather than the tiny scale one's generally available. I recommend MapEasy's Guide map To Venice, which is available on line or from Barnes and Noble in the US. The apartment was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was a little small for serious cooking, but it can be done. There are sufficient dishes and pans, although it could use a good sharp knife or two. Also, if you are a serious tea drinker, there is no tea kettle, tea strainer or tea pot. Our only discomfort was the temperature. It turned cold (in April) and the heat is apparently doled out by the building and had been turned off for the summer. We put the one extra comforter on the bed, which is in the plastic bag in the closet, but were still cold. We finally discovered that there is a space heater in a box in the storage closet off the bedroom, which solved the problem. All in all, a great trip. Too short! We would certainly stay in this apartment again. [Thank you so much for your nice review. So sorry about the chill. Paola is correct, the heat schedule is dictated by the government. We wish you had contacted us or your hostess to get you another comforter! And we will get the tea things, too! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"
Normally I stay at a hotel wherever I am on holidays. This time around, my daughter and I decided to study Italian in Florence and required something for one month. Italy Perfect made the rental process incredibly simple. When we arrived into Florence, we called the prearranged phone number and were happily greeted by the owner. We took a cab from the Airport and was met at the front door. The owner helped us manage the small Italian style elevator to the fourth floor, quickly showed us around, and answered all our questions about the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood west of the American embassy. It is a 15 minute walk to the center of Florence where all the tourists hang out; which means, if you want to be in the middle of things, this may not be for you. West of us one block away is a large green area called the Parco delle Cascine. Lots of runners, walkers, cyclists and families. The apartment has a fully utilized kitchen equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and the works. It has a North American size fridge, stove, oven and dishwasher. The bedrooms are large, one with two single beds and the other with a queen bed. The master bedroom has its own bathroom, while the other bedroom has its bathroom across the hall. Full showers with plenty of water pressure and hot water. All the bedroom windows are screened to keep out pesky mosquitoes. The beauty of being just outside the core is that it is quiet at night when sleeping. The apartment has a family room with a TV (Italian only), two sofas and a large table to study or watch Netflix. Yes, they have Wi-Fi that actually works remarkably well. There is a grocery store nearby, a bar (coffee shop) across the street and several restaurants a short walk away. We had the apartment cleaned once a week, where bed sheets were changed and towels replaced. All arraigned by Italy Perfect. This location worked well for the two of us and could easily accommodate four people. I plan on going back to Florence soon, and will rent this apartment again.

"My wife and I stayed in this apartment in Florence in April, 2016 and we had a very enjoyable trip. The apartment is cheerful, bright and very well located overlooking the Pointe Vechio bridge. It is large with two bedrooms and two baths, a large bright living room, a fantastic balcony, a dining room, a good sized kitchen and good bathroom with tub-shower. It has a washer and dryer. It is 3 minutes to the Uffizi gallery and Piaza Dell Singori, very close to shopping and dining. The apartment is more pretty and larger than the pictures show. We were blessed with good weather during our stay. The apartment to reserve the apartment was made by Patty from Italy perfect and were very easy. She responded quickly usually within 1-2 hours and answered all my questions, and gave clear instructions. Transferring the money was easy and secure. Our greeter Isabel was great. She met us at the apartment, showed us around, and gave recommendations regarding resturants. I recommend getting the Florence Tourist pass. It is 72 Euros but well worth it. You get free admission to all museums and can use public transportation and see Italian villas. It is valid for 72 hours. It can be purchased on line or from the Uffizi gallery. The food is exceptional, and not very expensive. Try to eat where the locals eat. If you order coffee standing you pay only one Euro, but if you sit it is more expensive. Getting cash back at the airport for tax free items you bought is very easy. I definitely recommend this apartment and highly recommend Italy perfect. I already made reservation for an apartment in Rome in the fall. BS Foad, MD [Thank you very much for this review and the helpful information, Dr. Foad. We look forward to welcoming you in Rome! "We arrived at the apartment on Sat, arranged for early check in and from the moment we arrived everything was amazing. The apartment was located blocks from Piazza Navona as well as where you can pick up local taxis. Right outside the apartment was a restaurant called MiMi e Coco which we ate at twice, the food was amazing! Beautiful apartment, made you feel like you actually lived in rome! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay at an apartment close to tourist spots...we literally walked almost everywhere."

"We spent six days/nights in a wonderful three bedroom/three bath apartment on the third floor of a 200 year old building overlooking the plaza of Sante Croce: the location is perfect. A ten minute walk to the Duomo and all its surrounds; fifteen minutes to the Ponte Vecchia Bridge; a ten minute walk to drug store (pharmacia) and market; a one minute walk to the Santa Croce Church; a wonderful restaurant literally outside our door; and right in the heart of the leather district. The apartment itself is more than adequate: quite comfortable. Great to be able to eat in, especially breakfast, at our pace. And plenty of room for a family of five (even when the kids are grown ups) with all having their privacy when they want it. HIghly recommended. [Thank you so much for your review! Can you believe that the building is actually more than 500 years old? The Italy Perfect Team]"

"My husband and I stayed here for two weeks. We selected this location because we like the Santa Croce area and liked the pictures showing the terrace and views of the church. The church is one we visit each time we are in Florence. We were not disappointed : the views were wonderful and the apartment was all that we hoped for. The furnishings are very comfortable for lounging around and the terrace and inside dining areas gave us many pleasant meal venues. The beds and bathrooms were great, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals and enjoy breakfast in. We used the washing machine several times and found it the best of the three we had in various places on this trip. While it also is a dryer, we used the drying rack and found that to work beautifully-also cut down on the utility usage! The only caveat to this location is that the church steps are a popular hangout well into the night; it can be very loud. Ear plugs blocked all the noise so it was not an issue for us--the "back" bedroom was a bit quieter. So, pack ear plugs and you will sleep well! Several restaurants in the area quickly became favorites: Francesco Vini, Acqua al Due, and Trattoria Icchè Cè Cè . Further from us, Giovanni's was wonderful--great bistecca alla Fiorentina. And the wine selections-terrific! Also close by is the Saint Ambrogio market-became an almost daily excursion for fresh foods of all sorts at great prices. Not to miss: the Mercato Centrale-inside, the Baroni's counter is a favorite. Paola and Allesandro have the best cheeses, olive oil, balsamic vinegars, and more-with tastings to help you choose. A trip up to Piazzale Michelangelo provides great views and a nice place for the sunset and a drink-the San Miniato church (just above ) gives even better views and, around 5:30 most days, you can hear Gregorian chants that add to the magicalness of the moment. The Duomo and the Duomo Museum are well worth visiting, and, if you want views, but don't want to climb the Campanile or Duomo steps , the Palazzo Vecchio has a much easier climb to the top. Renting from Italy Perfect was not only easy but they provided excellent information on what to expect and lots of info on phone service, WiFi and more. We would definitely recommend Italy Perfect to friends and will use them for our next trip for sure! [Thank you for all the recommendations and tips! The Italy Perfect Team]"

"The best review I can give is to not think twice, book this apartment. It was the perfect week, in the perfect location in an apartment beyond belief. You are close to everything, The apartment is comfortable, with lots of light coming in from windows that overlook the canals. Constant gondola's going by, music playing, boats coming in with supplies. The terrace is amazing. Views of St. Marks cathedral and roof tops. My only recommendation would to add a colander to the kitchen, as a lot of pasta is cooked in Italy! [Thank you, we're delighted you enjoyed your stay. The colander has been replaced, thanks for letting us know. - Italy Perfect]"

"Just wanted to send a follow-up regarding our stay at Prisco. It was really just about perfect. Location couldn't have been more convenient. It was comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. Definitely would stay again if we return to Florence. Thanks for everything."

"I know that this review is late, but it is worth letting prospective vacationers know how remarkable this apartment is.... First of all, it is quite large, and it is very well maintained. The owner did a splendid job in maintaining the architectural beauty of the apartment while updating it with such amenities as air conditioning and WiFi. It is very clean and comfortably sleeps 6, (that is how many were in our group). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Italy Perfect was responsive and attentive to our needs. Wonderful experience!![Thanks so much from the Italy Perfect Team!]"
