"We were very happy with our stay in the Palazzo. It was a great location and everything about the lovely apartment- beautifully appointed - made our stay in Florence as nice as it could possibly be.The mild November weather even allowed for us to spend time outside on the rooftop terrace with superb views of Santa Croce, the activities of the piazza below, and surroundings.There were many good places nearby to eat - Il Cernacchino for sandwiches, La Maremma, and Boccadama, among them, which was always friendly and accommodating, either for cappuccino in the morning or a nice meal one evening. We took advantage of the travel tips on the Italy Perfect blog -very helpful. Also appreciated the assistance with reservation details and excellent service from Lisa and all others associated with Italy Perfect.Have recommended our experience to others and will continue to do so.Many thanks!"

"I thought Italyperfect was just great in terms of the accommodation. The location was so convenient, the owner was a good host, the violinist made us feel a part of the street life of Rome. Plenty of room, appliances (other than coffee maker) worked. What more could we have wished for?I have great memories of Rome and could not have asked for better! "We could not have been more pleased with our stay at your apartment, Memoria. The apartment was large, comfortable and lovely. The balcony overlooking the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio were icing on the cake. What an amazing location; we literally felt that we were in the middle of everything and a short walk away from all the great shops, museums, duomos and restaurants. The real treat was meeting our greeter! She spent a lot of time helping us get our bearings the day we arrived. Throughout our stay she was on-call, guiding us with our shopping choices (because of her, we got some great deals) and prioritizing the sites to see during our short stay. She had many tips that made our stay stress-free, including purchasing our train tickets to Venice the day before departure. We simply cannot say enough good things about her. We not only plan to rent Memoria again, we hope to see her too! [Thank you Laura and Bob!]"

The second half-bath is tiny but convenient if there is more than one couple or family renting. "In the heart of it all...As this was my first trip to Italy and Florence, I am grateful for the level of service, and quality of lodging Italy Perfect offered. The destination/location advice for our needs was spot on, and reservation process very personable and efficient. Our taxi dropped us off at Memoria, from the train station, so we could promptly meet our greeter, and receive a timely, informative, and thorough orientation to the flat, and the area.The first thing you realize about Memoria, is the central location. Our door is at the base of one side of the Ponte Vecchio! So surreal. We walked to all the major museums and sites from our front door taking literally just minutes to Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti, Accademia Gallery, Cathedral of Santa Maria Fiore, and wonderful outdoor markets, as well as a plethora of boutiques and restaurants of all price points. When inside, the views over the Ponte Vecchio into the Tuscan hillside were breathtaking, virtually any time day or night. Loved that balcony. The flat is nicer than it appears in the photos. It includes comfy furniture, good wifi, good water pressure, washer & dryer (!), ample closet space and a well-appointed kitchen (used primarily for breakfasts) and very clean. Loved the formal dining room for entertaining a small group for dinner. Hope to return next year."

"The Medici apartment was in an excellent location. It was just right for 3 couples plus had large living and eating areas so we had others in our party staying in other Italy Perfect apartments visit almost daily for happy hour drinks and snacks recounting the sights and sounds of the day. The kitchen was excellent and well equipped. Our greeter was very helpful and made the move in process very easy. Right out your front door is the Santa Croce church which is excellent. Italy Perfect contracted Veronica as our tour guide for several places in the city. She was very affordable and very knowledgeable and brought to life what you were seeing. She had the "whisperers" so everyone could hear her even in the jam packed Uffizi. A tip on seeing the David. Go in the late afternoon. North of the entrance where the long line goes in and on the opposite side of the street is the "timed ticket" booth. Walk up and ask to go in "now". Costs 4 euros more but you are inside in less than 10 minutes. Worked for everyone of us in our group. Italy Perfect contracted for a couple of excellent vans who took 12 of us to Siena and San Gimignano for the day. Excellent vehicles and drivers - takes you right to the entrances. Very reasonably priced. Don't miss the Siena Duomo and the Italy Perfect recommended restaurant had the best gnocchi I have ever eaten! We went in late October, which was kind of cool for eating outdoors, so I'd recommend mid to late September. It was a fabulous week in Florence and Italy Perfect was a big part of it. "Once again I had a wonderful stay at the above property. It was perfect for two females travelling together. Our greater was Daniela who was there when we arrived and showed us the apartment. There was a problem with the TV in the living room, she called the owner and they came right away and the problem was fixed. The property was clean and spacious. There was a coffee shop on the corner where we had pastry and coffee every morning. By the end of the week they were like family. The restaurant across the street from the apartment was wonderful. It rained several days and we ran over to have lunch one day and dinner one day. The name is Osteria della Vite...great food, great wine and GREAT service. We enjoyed the apartment (as I said it was perfect) the area (it was one block from the Spanish Steps) and the whole experience. Thank you "Italy Perfect""

Once again I had a wonderful stay at the above property. It was perfect for two females travelling together. Our greater was Daniela who was there when we arrived and showed us the apartment. There was a problem with the TV in the living room, she called the owner and they came right away and the problem was fixed. The property was clean and spacious. "What a view!! This spacious, bright & sunny apartment is literally on the Arno, right next to the Ponte Vecchio, you could not ask for a more perfect location! Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the terrace watching the day bustle to a start and in the evening, sip your wine while watching the sunset over the Arno. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, with plenty of closet space, large well equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms (great water pressure), one of which is quite large. Noise while sleeping was not an issue as they have very good windows and, when closed, block most of the street sounds. There is a convenient, very well stocked grocery store an easy 5 minute walk just on the other side of the bridge, also a pharmacy right around the corner….really everything you need is in very easy (flat) walking distance with all the major sites just minutes away. A truly fantastic location. The living room sofas and chairs are very comfortable and there are large sliding glass doors from the living room onto the terrace that give the dining and living rooms tons of light and, of course, views. While it was sunny on my visit, I imagine the apartment would be airy even on rainy days. I’ve stayed in a number of Italy Perfect apartments over the years, and this one is assuredly up to their standards….I would move in long term if I could! Lisa and Pat, thank you for your professionalism and attention to detail…this apartment is wonderful, I’ll never forget those views!"

"Prisco was the perfect Italian apartment for us. Very spacious and a fantastic location! Close to everything we needed. The train was a very close and easy walk for day trips. We were given clear instructions for how to use everything in the apartment and everything went perfectly. I read about noise, but we had no problem at all. The bedroom was very dark and quiet. I had never rented an apartment while away, but this was definitely the way to go. I highly recommend Italy Perfect and Prisco! [Thank you so much, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay! "The Serenata Apartment is in the perfect Venice location … a five minute walk to St. Mark’s Square, yet far enough away from the tourists. Be alone in St. Mark’s at dawn or midnight! That’s something we will never forget. The apartment was exactly what we hoped for…. a sparkling clean “home away from home” in Venice. Italy Perfect made everything simple and easy. Paola, our greeter, was terrific with lots of local recommendations. It was a pleasure to meet a true Venetian. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment! We sure hope to return. "First, we would certainly recommend Italy, Paris and London Perfect for any travelers. We have used all three and your services are the best. The specific apartment we rented in San Croce in Florence was spectacular. The location was perfect - San Croce is full of great restaurants, sights and shops to visit and a GREAT walking neighborhood as is the entire city. The apartment is large, in a 500+ year old building with beautiful frescos covering many of the walls that go back hundreds of years. Our greeter, the apartment's owner was also very gracious and hospitable and make arrangements for our late arrival. "This apartment had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful week in Florence! The bed was comfortable, the location was fantastic, and the apartment had all the amenities we needed. The washer and dryer were welcomed after a week on the road to refresh our laundry for another week of traveling. There is a great little restaurant on the first floor (Bocodama's) which works well when you arrive and don't have the energy to explore (the fettucine with wild boar sauce was very good). We could walk to just about everything from the apartment, exploring interesting sites along the way. Violi's, a super gelato store, is only a couple of short blocks away. There is a taxi stand about 100 feet away for the excursions beyond walking distance or a trip to the train station or airport.Above all, do not miss the coffee shop diagonally across the plaza which has the best croissants (many flavors) for only one euro each. "Our accommodations in Rome were outstanding. The Zegno apartment exceeded our expectations and I imagine our family will never stay in a hotel again having had such an outstanding apartment-rental experience. We have three children, all under 13 years old, and everyone had enough space to relax after a long day. The kitchen and laundry were key, as traveling with younger kids requires early morning food and quick loads of laundry. We had never used an online rental company before and were nervous, but Lisa at ItalyPerfect answered every question and made sure every detail was in line prior to our departure. The apartment is located minutes from the Spanish Steps in a safe, bustling, shop-filled neighborhood. The owner met us upon our arrival and gave us dining and sightseeing ideas. Our departure morning was effortless. Truly our family cannot recommend ItalyPerfect enough and when we return to Rome, we will absolutely stay in this unit or another one recommended by the ItalyPerfect staff.[Thank you Stephanie, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay! "We rented the Tesoro apartment for a week, and it was exceptional. About 90 minutes after I inquired about the apartment, I got a response from Pat at Italy Perfect, confirming availability. Within 24 hrs Pat had all the information and paperwork sent to me.Between the time we booked the apartment and our departure, Pat was in touch to explain the check in procedure, sent links to helpful websites (trains, museums, etc.) Italy Perfect also sends along other helpful information (like using phones in Italy.) The apartment itself is wonderful, beautifully kept and decorated, and quite well equipped (I wasn't expecting a blender!) To top it off, it's right around the corner from the Piazza Santa Croce, and easy walking distance to all the main sights in Florence, even the Oltrarno area across the Arno River. The only time we took taxis were to/from the airport or train station. The neighborhood is lively during the day, but quiets down in the evening. Nevertheless, the apartment was always quiet, with the exception of the occasional church bell, which was charming! There is a small but well stocked grocery store around the corner, a farmers market, many restaurants in the area. Because the apartment is so centrally located, it was easy to spend time at a museum, stop for a gelato, then walk a short distance to the apartment to recharge before dinner or another adventure. "It took some convincing by my bro in law that November would be great. Better than great. Grand. Weather was warm, restaurants available, lovely grounds were still green. They were harvesting the olives by hand on the property. We used the recommended driver for outings around the peninsula and were glad for him. Enjoyed little walks around the area and hanging out in Sorrento a bit, too. This was a vacation, so we also slept in, read books and gazed at the sea and cliffs above while the clouds made art in the sky. Go in November."

"We arrived in Florence by train after five days in Venice staying at another Italy Perfect property. As usual Italy Perfect did not disappoint. The Casetta Bonsi was everything we hoped for. The owner/greeter met us at the agreed time. He welcomed us with a bottle of wine, sweets, fresh fruit and flowers. He gave us a complete walk around of his house and answered any questions we had. His home was spotless. Also little things that could be a problem were not an issue at the Casetta. We had ample water pressure, plenty of hot water, and a good supply of linens. He also had the heat turned on per my wife`s request. Bottom line everything was in working order. The location was within walking distance of all the major attractions (Duomo, Accademia, Uffizi etc.) One day we took a bus to Fiesole. Another day we went with Maurizio to wine country. He was very informative and great to be with.We made use of his restaurant recommendations and found some good ones on our own. We did not have a bad meal during our stay. Which brings me the to the steep incline to the Casetta. My wife and I are both in our late 60`s and it was not a problem for us (we both workout), but it could be a challenge for someone out of shape.We will continue to recommend Italy Perfect to anyone planning a trip to Italy. "The Zegno apartment was very beautiful, spacious and in such a perfect location! We were only a few blocks away from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The bedding was very comfortable and our hostess was very gracious and recommended great nearby dining! We loved this location it was so perfect for sightseeing, dining and shopping!
