"We stayed for 4 days in Strozzi apartment. The apartment is in perfect location, center of the city, 10 min walk to train center and most major attractions. The owners were extremely helpful. We enjoyed the stay due to this. Overall good stay due to central location."

"We needed a place with a kitchen because one of our party has severe food allergies. But we also wanted to have someone available to call on if we needed help in a strange city, which is why hotels are often the best option. The Alloro unit was perfect for us because there was staff on site who could help us with things like getting groceries or arranging for a water taxi to pick us up at the train station and take us back at the end of our stay. The location was ideal. The views were as good as one can get in Venice, located at the mouth of the Grand Canal at a point where the gondolas would cruise by with singers singing arias from Italian operas. It was nothing short of spectacular. Right next to the Westin hotel which has a nice waterfront bar and restaurant, overpriced but you can't beat the views. The front door is on a very quiet square, but the main action is only a few feet up the alley. The water taxi picked us up at the train station and took us right to the water side entrance of the house where we were greeted and taken right up to the apartment. The house is authentically old and retains every bit of its charm while still offering all the modern amenities. Italy Perfect also connected us with Rita Sartorri, a local guide who knows everything there is to know about Venice. We would have booked her for two days if she had been available. She walked us through parts of Venice that tourists simply don't go to and pointed out features of life there that brought the city and its history to life. The one thing about Venice that I found underwhelming was the food. There must be some good restaurants there, but there are a ton of mediocre and overpriced ones. By contrast, we spent a couple of nights in Milan and easily found great dining through the concierge without half trying. I would recommend guests work with the Italy Perfect house staff upon arrival and plan out dinners. Winging it did not work for us. I have traveled a lot in my life and I have limited tolerance for hassle and discomfort. If I am going to go to the trouble and expense of visiting a place like Venice I want it to be an experience with no compromises. Italy Perfect is designed for people like me. "This property is absolutely stunning, without a shadow of a doubt. With a large lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Superbly laid out and exceedingly well cared for and clean. Although just behind San Marco, it is beautifully peaceful at night, with no outside noise at all. The outside terrace is the icing on the cake, being able to sit in the evenings in the Venetian warmth, was very special.The location is beautiful, insofar as you are able to see the tops of the Basilica and San Marco Campanile, from the terrace. Just around the corner is a well-stocked Supermarket and myriad of bars, restaurants and shops. The Greeter Paula is a truly wonderful lady. She was so very kind to us and nothing was too much trouble for her. I was celebrating a 'large' birthday and she even purchased a card and present for me, which we thought was so very kind and generous of her. I shall keep my Venetian birthday card always. "The house was everything that we expected from the pictures. It felt like home during our 5 day stay. Maurizio made everything great from making recommendations for meals and visits to helping us book the taxi to the train station at the end of our stay. The attention to details in decorating the house, communicating before the visit, and greeting his guests were the best we have ever experienced in our years of traveling. Additionally the location is perfect, close to the bustle of Firenze but a cozy getaway during the hot summer afternoons. The house is perfect if one has no problems walking up steep cobblestone streets. It can be a hike at times but worth it."

"Traveling with four kids and two adults was challenging throughout Europe but this apartment fit us well. The apartment may actually have been too big as we never used the living room or dining room. The kitchen has couches and chairs so like all good parties we ended up spending time as a family in the kitchen. St. Croce Square is a great place to be, you feel like you are in the heart of everything. Though we had most breakfasts in the apartment at the foot of the stairs is a great place to eat.(Ristorante Boccadama) In fact we liked it so mush we ate there twice, a little crazy thinking how many other great places in Florence we could have gone. While we are talking food, Great burgers and beer are to be found at "Off the Hook" just down the road and if you are really craving a change from Italian food there is also a great Raman noodle place also just a little ways from the apartment. Having come from an all included apartment in Venice it was a surprise to us when the apparent managers started talking us through all of the changes we would face. Tourest charges, electricity and gas charges all seemed overwhelming. We did do laundry but hung it out and kept the AC low so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. When we checked out total extra fees were 30 euro! Darn if I had not been so spooked by the fees we would have been a lot more comfortable! Bad dad... Stay here and enjoy! [Thank you David! The Villa was beautiful and very adequate for our needs. The only minor negative is that it is on three levels and without elevator, so baggage and everything else needs to be carried up the stairs. The view is incredible an the grounds are lovely. The service from Italy Perfect is perfect, Pat is extremely helpful and very responsive. I rate her five stars plus! "What a gem! We landed in hot Venice, took a water taxi to our destination and Roy graciously met us and guided us to our apartment. It is in a prefect location. The apartment in on the 6th floor. It has a large kitchen and dining area. It has a wonderful living room and three bedrooms on that main floor, along with a terrace to sit and enjoy your morning cappuccino. This was a spacious and wonderful location for a family of six. The truly magical part of the apartment is the upstairs loft that has a bedroom and a bathroom and another terrace, this time on the roof. Gorgeous views all around. The location is near the Chiesa di San Moise - a gorgeous Venetian church. It is within walking distance to San Marcos Square, any shopping you could desire and delicious food all around. We found it to be safe, family friendly and very comfortable. Our three days in Venice were a delight and if I were to return...which I hope to do someday...I would hope to stay here again. "From the beginning discussions with Pat, to meeting Elizabetta our greeter, we were treated first class and with the warmest of welcomes. The villa is even more charming in person with every amenity you could imagine. Grocery store, restaurants, wine bars, gelato, shopping, museums, and friendly people are steps from the front door. Don't forget to visit Flor on the street as it fills the air with homemade perfumes that will blow your mind. We have traveled to many places around the world, and this is up there as being one of the greatest experiences we've ever had. We highly recommend contacting Pat and her team to make your experience above the ordinary. Without question we are referring our family members and close friends, and we also plan to return one day in the near future."

"This apartment is perfect for families. We have 2 large boys 14 and 20. All 4 of us fit perfectly in this space for a week in July. The A/C was very nice to have at night. The location allowed us to walk, yes really walk, to all the major sites in Rome. It is literally steps to Piazza Navona. Many great resultants were within steps of the apartment. Everyone associated with Italy Perfect was great to work with and very accommodating. Our flight was over an hour late. Our host Nancy waited for us and greeted us with a smile. She was great! I would also recommend scheduling tour guides before you go. Rich Brunn, found in the Italy Perfect site, was very knowledgeable about all the sites and was easy to work with. The entire experience made for a great stay and memorable vacation."

"Although Cassia is located in the heart of Venice it is in a quiet palazzo. As you step off the elevator to your penthouse suite you are enveloped by true Venetian style. Every elegant room in the apartment is spacious, even by North American standards. It is exquisitely appointed with sophisticated furnishings. The outdoor terrace on the main level is perfect for gatherings during the day and the altana for evenings. The amenities provided by the professional staff are delightful - maid service, bottled water, wonderful coffee and divine croissants each morning. The living areas are chic and the bedrooms and ensuites are generous and comfortable. Thanks to Italy Perfect for adding such a discriminating property to your cache of apartments. "We had a very enjoyable stay at the Prisco apartment in Florence in June 2017. The apartment is just so charming and spacious. Very clean, all the amenities you could ask for. Miki and Franco are the sweetest hosts and very organized in getting your acclimated to the apartment and settled in. The location could not be better and we were able to walk all over Florence to everything we needed to see. The train station is a short 10 minute walk away. The only slight negative is the nightclub that is next to the street where people stand outside and are very noisy. If you sleep in the living room on the pull out sofa, the noise can be distracting. The bedroom has extra noise barrier which makes it much more tolerable.All in all, a great place to stay while in Florence and we recommend it highly. Victoria [We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the apartment to be spacious and charming. The bedroom special glass noise barrier does a great job blocking noise. Just a point of clarification, there is no nightclub on the street but there is a pub, and if patrons leaving the pub are noisy, the sound can reach the living room of the apartment. "If you want to be close to Piazza San Marco and all the goings on then this is the place for you. Since it is perfectly situated between San Marco and Castello sestieres it is a great jumping off point to discover the other side of Venice too. There is a grocery store nearby. Sitting out on the terrace you have a view of a Venice traffic jam - goldolas everywhere! The apartment was very spacious and clean with a generous bedroom, bathroom with double sinks and plenty of light. There is a large living area for relaxing or sitting at the table and planning your next daily adventure. Great service from our greeter as well. [We are delighted you enjoyed your stay! "All 5 of us fell in love with this place. The interior was roomy and beautiful. We could not have asked for a better location. The staff was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. I really cannot say enough good things about this apartment. For anyone that plans on going to the airport via water taxi I would recommend leaving at least 4 hours prior to your flight. We were told and had a water taxi arranged to pick us up 2 1/2 hours before our flight. This was not enough time. We were still standing in the passport line when they started to board our flight, the security ended up just passing everyone through as there was a long line. Also beware that it is a hike from where the water taxi drops you off and the airport, save at least $30 euros for a porter that will drive you to the terminal building with all of your luggage. "I recently returned from Florence after an extended stay. The Michaela apartment was very comfortable and totally supplied with everything needed from American coffee, kitchen and bathroom soap, tissue, good hairdryers, and enough food supplies for days.Their apartments are only a few steps from the famous Via Tornaibuoni, 3 blocks from the Piazza della Repubblica, very near the Duomo, San Lorenzo, Palazzo Vecchio, The Uffizi, Santa Maria Novella and a supermarket all within a short walk. A Perfect Location! The restaurants in the neighborhood were very good and I must recommend Osteria Pastella on Via della Scala (4.5 stars and not expensive.) The most surprising thing about staying there was the landlords (Miki, Franco, and their son Marco.) They seem invisible until you need something they magically appear. They quickly respond to every request, are kind, generous, warm and extremely helpful. They even provided an Italian Go phone that allowed me to make reservations and contact friends at no cost. I highly recommend any apartment of theirs. They made my stay so easy and comfortable. The best fringe benefit of the MICHAELA apartment is that there is a bakery on the ground floor, and at about 11:00 PM the aroma of baking breads, cakes and cookies rise up and waft into the apartment, if the windows a partially open.
