"The location of this apartment could not have been better. It was a short stroll to everywhere we wanted to see. The apartment I would describe as faded grandeur, original shabby chic. Two very large rooms which were very comfortable for both sleeping and sitting. Although it’s noisy outside (as it is in the heart of the city where it never completely goes to sleep) the additional soundproofing around the window in the bedroom works a treat and you can barely hear anything. With the shutters closed it was light proofed too, so was a great environment for a good nights sleep. We had everything we needed for our stay in the apartment and our hosts were very friendly while being unobtrusive. "We found the villa to be spotless, well stocked, and in the most prime of locations: in the middle of the Spanish Steps area and yet on a quiet street. We love having three bedrooms for two couples as it allowed us to stow bags out of our rooms. The owner left a beautiful basket of snacks and a bottle of wine. She was a delight to work with. The unit included CD's, guidebooks, fresh flowers...everything you could imagine wanting. We loved Il Come Lait for gelato and Pizza and Mozzarella for the best slice in Italy. Pierluigi provided a magnificent lunch venue and the food was outstanding. We used Limos in Rome for our first day of touring.I found Italy Perfect to be professional and very easy to work with on this booking. “Thank you for the review Cynthia, and for the tips for future guests. "The Belvidere on Piazza Santa Croce was the perfect location for walking to all the sites of Florence. Being an apartment that was not facing the Piazza provided a quieter stay, and a lovely deck to enjoy wine, cheese and bread. Accomodations were excellent, and the facilities were very good. All in all, a great 4 weeks in Italy! Italy Perfect was a great find. [Thank you so much for your kind review.]"

"Mikki and Franco met us @ the apartment check-in; lovely couple who took time to hand markup a map of Florence with the apartment location as well as giving us the walking times to all the sights. They recommended 4 local restaurants (we tried them all and all were fantastic), each of which was great (both service and food). The apartment is spacious and in a perfect location. Attention to detail in the way the apartment operation manual is laid out (pictures and hand written captions on how all the stuff works. Little details like night lights on the step up and step down from the bedroom to 1 of the 2 great bathrooms indicate a lot of thought has gone into the apartment. "This apartment is comfortable, quiet and has one of the best roof terraces I have ever enjoyed. The greeter, Paola made us feel right at home and met us a few meters from the apartment, when I could not find the correct street name. She explained everything and made sure we understood. One of the most friendly and professional people I have ever met hope , to see her again in the near future. There are excellent restaurants, shops and a good market in the neighborhood. If you want to see how gondolas are operated, spend an evening on the terrace , have some great wine and just watch gondoliers talent at work. One of the special things about Italy Perfect is all of the detailed information about venice that was provided with the booking process, it was thorough and easy to follow. The " wallet cards" included were a very special service. See you soon ! "There was a little trouble in telephoning Miki and Franco to inform them of our arrival time, but we finally made contact. Their preferred method of communication is email, but we did not have that address. The apartment was exactly as advertised on the website description and photos. Very comfortable and well-appointed. Any street noise that is distracting in the main room is thankfully nonexistent in the very well insulated bedroom. Miki and Franco are a delightful couple who were very friendly and helpful in explaining the features of the apartment and making recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc., in the neighborhood. The apartment location is very convenient to all the sights in the historic/tourist area of Florence. We walked just about everywhere. This was our first time using Italy Perfect, and I would gladly recommend them and this apartment."

"Imagine the absolute perfect spot in Firenze. This is it. 16th century apartment with space for our entire family, close to all the action and amazing food close by. Without the fabulous owners and beautiful home, our trip would not have been even close to the success it was. Enjoy and tell them the Mertz family will be back every year or two!"

"Sehr netter Gastgeber! Schönes Häuschen mit wunderbarer kleiner Terrasse inmitten der Dächer. Fussdistanz zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, trotzdem ruhige und touristenarme Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert! Service von Italy Perfect ist tadellos, alles hat bestens funktioniert. Translation: Very nice host! Nice cottage with a wonderful little terrace in the middle of the roofs. "What a great trip! You know the rule, location, location, location. The apartment was perfect. Right in the center of town, we walked everywhere. We also felt very safe at all times even late in the evening. Our accommodations were comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and helpful. I don't travel frequently, so I was a bit anxious being in a strange city without a connection. I spoke with Lisa at Italy Perfect and knew she was a phone call away if I needed help. Italy Perfect's arrival instructions explained everything I needed to know. I was prepared and there were no surprises. Good job. I would definitely stay again."

"The apartment was perfect for two couples. Each couple had their own separate spaces (both could be closed off completely from the rest of the apartment) which made it seem like there were two apartments in one. It was ideal. The decor felt like we were in the countryside - cozy and welcoming. The location was excellent and we were never 10 minutes away from anything. "We all loved the Elegante apartment. Lovely furniture, artwork, space, and light. Our suggestions for some small improvements - include a few blankets to use on the couch or when the quilts are too warm, provide written instructions for the washer and dryer, and include CNN on all televisions. We very much appreciated the coffee, milk, cookies, and ice cream provided in the kitchen."

What a memorable & wonderful time had in Roma!! It is our very first visit to this awesome city. Being in this location & the beautiful Pasquino apartment made a big difference!! "Our stay in this apartment was fantastic. Family of 4. Plenty of space to relax when we needed to. Top floor. The location turned out to be fantastic. Somewhat centrally located but just outside the tourist-y core enough to not have to deal with extensive crowds and noise. Felt like we were within a 20 minute walk of everything. The street the apartment is on has numerous restaurants and gelaterias. Also a grocery store that had enough of the basics for us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I found everyone I dealt with Italy Perfect was nice and very helpful. This apartment and the preparation materials that Italy Perfect provided were essential to what ended up being our best family trip ever. I say that truly. "My wife and I have rented numerous properties in Europe on vacation and the Prisco apartment ranks as one of the best. It was spacious, clean, very well equiped and beautifully located. The owners who welcomed us were extremely helpful with recommendations for places to dine nearby and shop for provisions. The bakery, vitually at the front door, was excellent. Overall, a wonderful time. We've rented from Italy Perfect before and will do so again. We have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. "We had the most wonderful experience at this spacious apartment that easily slept 2 adults and three kids. The owners treated us like family. The apartment was gorgeous and had all the amenities to cook and wash our clothes for the week. I highly recommend this apartment."

"Our apartment was very comfortable and of a good size. Clean and well maintained. But what stood out the most was the view. We had an incredible view of the entire Santa Croce area and sitting on the patio at night was wonderful. And if you want to be in good shape don't take the small elevator since walking up and down the 4-5 floors offset much of the eating we did. Nice place and great location. "We spent two weeks living in the "little house" on Piazza de Bonsi, and loved every minute of our stay. Maurizio and Gabriella welcomed us warmly, and we happily settled right in. The house goes back many centuries, but it has been nicely renovated and is very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. The living room has a big dining table, and the kitchen is perfectly adequate for cooking if you wish. The neighborhood is lovely, but be prepared to walk up a fairly steep hill (Costa dei Magnoli) when you head home after a day visiting all the sights! The location is great, however, and you can walk to all the main tourist areas easily. The Casetta was always quiet at night, which we loved. You can see the tower of the Signoria from the lovely balcony upstairs. It was too cold for us to use it but we imagine it is heavenly in warmer weather. Our only negative was that the shower never got hot, and vacillated between lukewarm and cold. We never could figure out whether it was just a quirk of the Italian bathroom (which otherwise is wonderful and apparently recently renovated), or if we did something wrong in its use. Other than that, we felt it was a perfect stay and we'd happily go back any time. Recommended sites to visit, in addition to all the "must see" sites of Florence: the nearby church of Santa Felicita with its magnificent Pontormo painting, recently restored; Santa Croce, where Michelangelo and many other Italian greats are buried; the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, full of amazing artworks, Santo Spirito and Santa Maria del Carmine (both nearby), the Bardini gardens, and the Bargello Museum. SO many great restaurants, of course, but we loved the Trattoria Antico Fattore for delicious and authentic Tuscan cuisine. Cafe JR, just opposite the Pitti Palace, makes beautifully "decorated" cappuccinos in the morning. If you are shopping for jewelry, stay off the touristy Ponte Vecchio and head to a little shop on Via Lambertesca, 20/r, very near the bridge--the shop is called Matassini and they are a family-owned, old-world Florentine jeweler with good prices and beautiful jewelry of all kinds!
