"We loved our time in Rome! It's a magical city! The Pasquino is in a perfect location, it is so easy to walk to all of the amazing sites in Rome. The apartment was very nice, spacious and perfect for a family of 4. We loved having a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. There are plenty of good restaurants and Gelateria's close by. Walking from the Spanish Steps, by the Trevi Fountain, by the Pantheon and ending up at Piazza Navona in the evening, is a perfect way to end your day. We would certainly recommend the Italy Perfect to our friends. The other thing we loved was our tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius - we booked a tour with Viator which was fun and very well organized.. It was my kids favorite part of our trip (that and Gelato, of course)."

"Franco and Miki are gracious hosts! Franco offered a detailed orientation to the apartments' amenities ... AC, TV, hot water, laundry room, elevator and even a short walk to locate the local delicious take-out and grocery markets. The quarters are part of Miki's original family home and The Prisco has period windows, floors, accents and furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped! Pay close attention to Franco when he explains how to secure both balcony doors as well as the bedroom door to soundproof the very large bedroom as it works perfectly for a great night's sleep in the city center! Also, I really appreciated the meticulous cleanliness of the rental. Lastly, Franco arranged for a taxi on the morning of our departure. His and Miki's kindness are exemplary."

"My wife and I really enjoyed a week at this great location. It is right by the high-end shopping street Via de' Tornabuoni, so is a very secure area. It was our 5th trip to Florence so we felt right at home. We generally like 5 -Star hotels in Europe, and were very pleased w this apartment. Was always quiet. The bed mattress was in very good condition, medium-firm I'd say, which is important for those with back issues. Small US-type drip coffee maker provided in addition to Italian type. Small refrigerator was perfect for our needs, since mostly we ate out. Nice bakery 3 doors down. Heat wave while there, but the AC functioned well. As they note, you will need Euro in cash to deposit and then later settle up for additional electricity fees for AC ( was a total of about E-95 for 7days); we kept it cool at 20 degree C while there average of about 9 hrs/day, but bumped it up to 25C when we were out, if that gives you any guidance. We never had any problems w amount of hot water available for showers, as suggested by another review. Takes 30 sec for water temp adjustment to be realized since comes from a distance, so if you cool off the temp, it takes a while but easy to over-shoot so then could seem like you've run out of hot water....but if you will just wait a while for the adjustment back to warmer to take effect, you realize there is plenty. Easy once you figure out where to move the lever for next time. Even with electricity fee, total cost was similar to about 1 night's charge for 5-Star Savoy Hotel, not far away! Used small interior balcony only for hanging some clothes out to dry. Small washing machine in bathroom was helpful. FYI, there's a large, full service grocery store w good prices close to the Duomo about a block off the north-western end of piazza called Sapori Dintorni (Conrad) w address about 16 Borgo San Lorenzo; otherwise easy to find small convenient stores for milk, OJ etc scattered around the area. Contact with Franco and his wife was very easy, made us feel at home. You'll get detailed instructions from Italy Perfect after you sign up. Franco offered to help arranging cab for departure, but we'd already arranged a car for pickup. Size was fine for a couple. Would definitely stay there again, or in the even larger apartment just across the hall, owned and run by same family. [Thank you so much for your detailed review. "This is the most perfect location I could ever hope for. Have stayed in other neighbourhoods in Florence but The Prisco property is so beautifully central nestled into the narrow winding streets with lovely independently owned shops and restaurants while still being just steps from Tornabuoni shopping, fine dining and museums. Discovered Procacci, who have been selling all things truffles since 1885 while shopping for gif5s to bring home - also offering lovely small truffle sandwiches and great wines (Tignanello by the glass!) The high ceilings, arched double windows and huge chandelier in the living room create a charming traditional atmosphere while the large kitchens was quite up to date featuring a huge, modern gas stove. But I didn’t come to Italy to cookHosts Miki and Lorenzo were very accommodating and always accessible. "We are so happy to have you stay with us, please come back again soon! "The owners/managers of the apartment were very prompt with all communications prior to and during our trip. The apartment was spacious, clean, in a great location, and suited all our needs perfectly. The only suggestion I have for the owners would be to provide wash cloths for washing your face/body. We are hoping to make it back to Rome, and if we ever do we would definitely consider staying here again.[We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. To explain, washcloths are not typically found in Italy. One of the many cultural differences in Italy! "This was the perfect spot for our visit to Florence with our 20-something son. My husband and I enjoyed the privacy of the upstairs master bedroom and our son found the pull-out couch in the living room worked just fine for him. Every little touch is thought of in this small house. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher too. Maurizio met us when we arrived and gave us a very full orientation to the place. He also thoughtfully arranged a cab for us, the day we left. There were many personal touches -- we arrived to find a bowl of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and Italian cookies to welcome us. This little place is a short walk from everything that we wanted to see in Florence and has a grocery store and various restaurants just 5 minutes away. Maurizio left us a very helpful list of good reasonably-priced restaurants in the area, which we used. We would happily stay here again!"

"This apartment is on the outer edge of the tourist area but only a few blocks from everything. For someone who wants to have some of their meals in the apartment it is ideal. It is only about 7 short blocks from a terrific outdoor market for fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread, meat, etc. There is an outdoor terrace overlooking the piazza which is fabulous. We ate more than half our meals there. It is a 15 minute or less walk to any attraction. The only downside to the apartment at all is that there are steps up or down between the rooms which you have to pay attention to, especially at night. "Miki and Franco are wonderful hosts - they met us at the apartment and took the time to show us how everything worked and had suggestions for us too - our first visit to Florence so we appreciated the extra information. Overall it was a great place to stay - I would suggest that guests use the air conditioner for two reasons - if window are open it can be noisy - we did not the first few days and were warm at night and the street noise crept into the apartment. Perhaps a fan would be useful but if you turn the air conditioner on it definitely cools the rooms and the street noise disappears -- so do not hesitate to do that - our mistake in waiting to do so.The linens on the bed were freshly ironed it seemed - very comfortable. We would stay again and would also look at the other apartments within Miki and Franco's space. THANK YOU Miki and Franco - they went above and beyond to make sure it was a wonderful vacation to Florence. We would recommend Italy Perfect - very helpful in all aspects. "My husband and I ended our two week trip to Italy with three days in Rome. Big cities are loud at all times of the day and night, but walking into the Princess Paolina was like taking in a deep breath, so quiet and relaxing. This apartment is modern and updated, with attention to details to make your stay pleasant. From the electric black out shades in the bedroom, to the stocked beverages in the refrigerator, we could not have been more pleased. Our greeter, Franscesco, was great!! He provided a map for us and marked his favorite places to eat! He was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were very pleased with the location of the apartment. Easy to get to, with nearby restaurants, and tons of shopping!! Italy Perfect was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend them!! We would also highly recommend the Princess Paolina!! "My husband and I stayed in Florence at the Prisco for 5 days. The apartment is large and accommodating to your needs. Our hosts were very nice and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and we felt as if we were invited guests into their home. Italy Perfect gave an apt description of the apartment with some background on the owners of the apartment, which met our expectations. The location is great, which really is in the heart of Florence. The apartment is in easy walking distance of all the important sites, with plenty of restaurants and stores right in the neighborhood. We really enjoyed Café Megara, which is right outside the apartment. Great for a quick coffee, or a lite meal. We also enjoyed L'Osteria di Giovanni, which is right down the street. This is a restaurant frequented by locals, and our meal was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence. For the location and price, the Prisco comes highly recommended. "We were greeted by the lovely Paola who showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment and went as far as to take us to a gourmet grocery store I had heard about. The apartment and the location are absolutely fabulous! Just minutes to Piazza San Marco, the vaporetto, Rialto, food and wine. You can happily spend too much time watching the gondolas from the deck. So glad to have found it! "The location of this apartment could not have been better. It was a short stroll to everywhere we wanted to see. The apartment I would describe as faded grandeur, original shabby chic. Two very large rooms which were very comfortable for both sleeping and sitting. Although it’s noisy outside (as it is in the heart of the city where it never completely goes to sleep) the additional soundproofing around the window in the bedroom works a treat and you can barely hear anything. With the shutters closed it was light proofed too, so was a great environment for a good nights sleep. We had everything we needed for our stay in the apartment and our hosts were very friendly while being unobtrusive. "The Belvidere on Piazza Santa Croce was the perfect location for walking to all the sites of Florence. Being an apartment that was not facing the Piazza provided a quieter stay, and a lovely deck to enjoy wine, cheese and bread. Accomodations were excellent, and the facilities were very good.
