"If you love a tranquil setting in the country, set in the midst of medieval villages, fortresses and castles, this is a perfect place for your family vacation. After spending four days in the heat and bustle of Rome, Riposa Verde was a heavenly respite with it's cool breezes, gorgeous olive trees, and swimming pool. The nearby town of San Casciano Dei Bagni could not be more charming with it's own castle and delicious little stores. Our favorite days started off by going into town and bringing back pastries, honey, cheese, salami, raviolis and fruit from the delightful, little Italian specialty stores. Days were sprinkled with road trips to nearby sights and lounging by the pool, reading books. Favorite day trips included visiting Siena, Orvieto, Assisi (recommend stopping in Solomeo and Deruta along the way), Pienza, climbing the medieval tower of Radicofani, and a gorgeous drive for a beach day in Monte Argentario, stopping in Pitigliano along the way. At night, we were treated to the best dinner of our lives at the Fighini Castle up the road. Worth it to order the seven course dinner. Ristorante Daniela and La Fontanella are not to be missed. On Saturdays/Sundays, lunch at Santa Chiara in Sarteano was fantastic. But maybe the best part of all, was coming home to dinners prepared by Eleonora. A wonderful time was spent at Villa Sole...truly a perfect location. We, as a large family of ten, could go visit the surrounding areas but always retreat back to our beautiful villa at day's end. It is immaculately cared for by the wonderful caretaker and the best meals ever were made for us by the chefs. I can only wish we could have had more time there and would recommend it to any one looking for a place to relax and see the best sunsets possible...right from your own terrace. "What a terrific property! Pasquino is first of all located perfectly. It's a 20 minute walk to either the Vatican or the Coliseum. About 10 minutes to the Pantheon. Never needed cabs or public transportation. It's tucked away in a small piazza with loads of shops and restaurants. Noise was never a factor even on a Saturday night. This was our first trip to Rome and we were intrigued to find it a culture not of main boulevards but of alleys all creating a maze of restaurants and shops to explore and enjoy. Recommend Virginiae restaurant close by. The apartment itself is very spacious and well appointed. Very nice kitchen where we cooked breakfast each morning. Good small grocery very near. Matteo, our greeter, communicated promptly and was waiting for us when we arrived from the train station. This was our 2nd experience renting from Italy Perfect as we also rented an apartment from them in Florence. They are perfect to rent from - terrific, professional and complete communication from reservation to check-in. Very helpful for first time travelers to Italy. We spent 6 nights at the Bardi residence in Florence and we can't say enough wonderful things about our apartment. To start, the owner and his son could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The location of the apartment was so central and the apartment amenities were perfect. The space of this apartment was perfect for two people and it was clean and very comfortable. To top off this place it had a super market that had everything right next door to the apartment. As well there was a lovely coffee shop right across the street. We were walking distance from everything Florence has to offer and to top it off a wonderful terrace to enjoy coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon and evening. I can't say enough about this place and would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a location that is central in Florence. Thank you again! Sue and Rich [Thank you so much Sue! The Apartment Bardi is in a great location on the Via Bardi at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio in the old part of the city, just down the road from the Pitti Palace. Conveniently located it is within easy walking distance of most of the major sites. There is a grocery store immediately next door, both a self-service and assisted service laundries within a block. One of the best gelato shops in the city four doors down and two other gelato stores within two blocks. There are restaurants of many different type and price points across the street as well as in all surrounding blocks. The walk along the Arno is half a block down. Now to the apartment itself. The bed is super comfortable. Unbelievably so for an apartment rental. The bathroom has an excellent shower and is very nice. The apartment is comfortable for two people. The balcony is very pleasant and has a nice cover to make it private and keep out the sun. But, on a hot Florence summer day, the air-conditioning is a huge treat. After coming home from long days of touring and walking through the huge crowds feeling rather dusty the apartment felt great. The team at Italy Perfect was very responsive throughout our communication with them. We were greeted with no problem and all communication during our stay was excellent. We were so happy with this rental! The location is just perfect and it was so comfortable. Has elevator or stairs, washing machine which we used often at the end of the trip. Very quiet, no street noise with windows closed. Beautiful, immaculate apartment, everything we needed and more! The terrace was amazing and we sat there every day to relax. The owner is very nice and showed us how to use everything. The beds are very firm. Highly recommend and would stay again. "We loved our time in Rome! It's a magical city! The Pasquino is in a perfect location, it is so easy to walk to all of the amazing sites in Rome. The apartment was very nice, spacious and perfect for a family of 4. We loved having a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. There are plenty of good restaurants and Gelateria's close by. Walking from the Spanish Steps, by the Trevi Fountain, by the Pantheon and ending up at Piazza Navona in the evening, is a perfect way to end your day. We would certainly recommend the Italy Perfect to our friends. The other thing we loved was our tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius - we booked a tour with Viator which was fun and very well organized.. It was my kids favorite part of our trip (that and Gelato, of course)."

Our trip couldn't have been more perfect. We took the train from Rome to Florence and caught a cab out front of the station and were dropped off right in front of the apartment in less than 10 minutes. The owner was waiting at the door for us and whisked us inside and brought our luggage up in the elevator. He showed us how to operate everything (the washer is different so pay attention). He had a nice bottle of wine ready for us. The apartment is just the right size for two and we spent a lot of time on the terrace. It was amazing to us how quiet it was once we realized we really were right in the middle of it all. The Ponte Vecchio is right across the street and there are many great shops and restaurants steps away from the apartment. We were happy with the location. We tried to head out in a different direction every day. (We always made sure to pass by Vivoli for gelati everyday-the best!) We counted our steps with our I phone and averaged 16,000 a day which made us ready for a good night's sleep on the firm mattress. We both have back issues from time to time but loved this mattress and had no problems on this trip. We had to contact the owner once when the water heater wasn't working properly and we only had cold water. He called right back and came over to reset it. No problem. We would definitely use Italy Perfect again but visit at a different time of year as it was way too crowded everywhere. Thanks for a great trip! "Franco and Miki are gracious hosts! Franco offered a detailed orientation to the apartments' amenities ... AC, TV, hot water, laundry room, elevator and even a short walk to locate the local delicious take-out and grocery markets. The quarters are part of Miki's original family home and The Prisco has period windows, floors, accents and furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped! Pay close attention to Franco when he explains how to secure both balcony doors as well as the bedroom door to soundproof the very large bedroom as it works perfectly for a great night's sleep in the city center! Also, I really appreciated the meticulous cleanliness of the rental. Lastly, Franco arranged for a taxi on the morning of our departure. His and Miki's kindness are exemplary."

"My wife and I really enjoyed a week at this great location. It is right by the high-end shopping street Via de' Tornabuoni, so is a very secure area. It was our 5th trip to Florence so we felt right at home. We generally like 5 -Star hotels in Europe, and were very pleased w this apartment. Was always quiet. The bed mattress was in very good condition, medium-firm I'd say, which is important for those with back issues. Small US-type drip coffee maker provided in addition to Italian type. Small refrigerator was perfect for our needs, since mostly we ate out. Nice bakery 3 doors down. Heat wave while there, but the AC functioned well. As they note, you will need Euro in cash to deposit and then later settle up for additional electricity fees for AC ( was a total of about E-95 for 7days); we kept it cool at 20 degree C while there average of about 9 hrs/day, but bumped it up to 25C when we were out, if that gives you any guidance. We never had any problems w amount of hot water available for showers, as suggested by another review. Takes 30 sec for water temp adjustment to be realized since comes from a distance, so if you cool off the temp, it takes a while but easy to over-shoot so then could seem like you've run out of hot water....but if you will just wait a while for the adjustment back to warmer to take effect, you realize there is plenty. Easy once you figure out where to move the lever for next time. Even with electricity fee, total cost was similar to about 1 night's charge for 5-Star Savoy Hotel, not far away! Used small interior balcony only for hanging some clothes out to dry. Small washing machine in bathroom was helpful. FYI, there's a large, full service grocery store w good prices close to the Duomo about a block off the north-western end of piazza called Sapori Dintorni (Conrad) w address about 16 Borgo San Lorenzo; otherwise easy to find small convenient stores for milk, OJ etc scattered around the area. Contact with Franco and his wife was very easy, made us feel at home. You'll get detailed instructions from Italy Perfect after you sign up. Franco offered to help arranging cab for departure, but we'd already arranged a car for pickup. Size was fine for a couple. Would definitely stay there again, or in the even larger apartment just across the hall, owned and run by same family. [Thank you so much for your detailed review. "This is the most perfect location I could ever hope for. Have stayed in other neighbourhoods in Florence but The Prisco property is so beautifully central nestled into the narrow winding streets with lovely independently owned shops and restaurants while still being just steps from Tornabuoni shopping, fine dining and museums. Discovered Procacci, who have been selling all things truffles since 1885 while shopping for gif5s to bring home - also offering lovely small truffle sandwiches and great wines (Tignanello by the glass!) The high ceilings, arched double windows and huge chandelier in the living room create a charming traditional atmosphere while the large kitchens was quite up to date featuring a huge, modern gas stove. But I didn’t come to Italy to cookHosts Miki and Lorenzo were very accommodating and always accessible. "We are so happy to have you stay with us, please come back again soon! "The owners/managers of the apartment were very prompt with all communications prior to and during our trip. The apartment was spacious, clean, in a great location, and suited all our needs perfectly. The only suggestion I have for the owners would be to provide wash cloths for washing your face/body. We are hoping to make it back to Rome, and if we ever do we would definitely consider staying here again.[We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. To explain, washcloths are not typically found in Italy. One of the many cultural differences in Italy!
