When we first stepped out onto the terrace of the Concerto apartment, we knew it would be an absolute guest favorite! With 180-degree views that span the top of the Duomo all the way across the Arno river to the Pitti Palace, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Florence in a charming setting. The large wrap around terrace has multiple seating areas, including a bistro table for dining al fresco. Look out over medieval towers and traditional terracotta tile rooftops and you’ll spot Brunelleschi’s soaring dome of the Duomo as well as the bell tower nearby. You’ll love stepping outside to listen to the rich, sonorous sound of the Duomo bells as they ring out over Florence!

After a complete remodel, our team worked their magic to create a stylish and inviting two-bedroom vacation rental. At Concerto, the living room is full of beautiful light from the French doors and a large window opening to the terrace that wraps around two sides of the apartment. The open plan design of the living area includes a gorgeous modern kitchen, dining area and a comfy L-shaped sofa and armchairs. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or lounging on the terrace, there’s plenty of space indoors and out to spend time catching up with family and friends.

Two beautiful bedrooms and two full bathrooms complete this well-designed apartment. With an ornate decorative ceiling and antique decorative touches, the elegant bedroom 1 has an en suite bathroom accessed through a clever “hidden” door in the wall of closets that line the room. While in bedroom 2, French doors open to the terrace. The details in each space have been carefully selected and the handsome bathrooms, each with enclosed showers, pay tribute to Italian craftsmanship with beautiful tilework.

Allegro
A terrace with a view at Allegro!
Another masterpiece by our design team, the Allegro apartment is a spacious and beautifully decorated two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation rental. Stepping inside the apartment, you’ll be greeted by a lovely terrace that will be a favorite spot for relaxing during your stay. The open plan living room has two glass French windows that face towards the Uffizi, just one block away, and overlooks characteristic terracotta tile rooftops. A sleek dining table with banquette seating, comfortable sofa and two armchairs provide ample seating.

Just like Concerto, the Allegro apartment has two beautiful bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has large French windows that fill the room with light and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is also finely appointed and the second full bathroom is conveniently just across the hallway.

The new Concerto and Allegro apartments are located in a building that was constructed around the Torre Lambertesca, a historic medieval tower. The building’s elevator has been cleverly designed to run up the tower. Upon entering the Allegro apartment, you’ll even see some of the medieval stone wall, which has been preserved as part of the design!

This unique setting is a rare chance to experience Florence’s history up close. During the turbulent 11th and 12th centuries, there were once 150 of these protective towers across Florence. Each prominent Florentine family would build a tower up to 70m/ 230ft high for defense during the often violent competition among them. In the 13th century, with the founding of the Republic of Florence, the era of civil battles ended and the towers were all reduced to a height of 29m/ 95ft. Torre Lambertesca is one of the few remaining towers – and you’ll see it up close during your stay!
