ItalyPerfect is a family-run business started by Lisa Byrne, an American, who was born and raised in Italy. Our goal is to provide personalized, hands-on attention to make your trip to Italy enjoyable, and to share valuable local insights and tips to make you feel at home in your vacation rental apartment or house. Lisa lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children.

ItalyPerfect has received media recognition in publications including U.S. News & World Report, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, the Oklahoman and has been featured on "Around the World in 80 Homes" TV's The Fine Living Channel. Since 2005 ItalyPerfect has been a honored as a "Favorite" by Slow Travel www.slowtrav.com based on positive guest reviews and feedback.

Prior to launching ItalyPerfect, Lisa was a public relations consultant, working with a number of technology and professional services companies. She spent many years as a Corporate Communications executive with Apple Computer. Lisa began her career in marketing at Atari Computer in the 1980's followed by several years in product marketing and public relations at Hewlett Packard.

The daughter of an Air Force colonel who later became a multinational executive with General Electric, Lisa grew up in Rome and Naples. Lisa works closely with her sisters Madelyn, Pat & Carolyn Byrne who oversee www.ParisPerfect.com, www.LondonPerfect.com, www.ExcellentEurope.com and www.KidsEurope.com.

The properties you see on ItalyPerfect come from our large Italian network of personal contacts and family friends. We have inspected and stayed in each of the apartments and houses you see on the website and we know each and every owner as they are part of our extended "perfect" family. We travel to Italy several times a year (it's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it...) to meet and inspect all of the properties we represent, and to scope out new additions to our property selection.

Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University and a Masters of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management, also known as 'Thunderbird'.
