streets are pedestrian thoroughfares.
Monday is market day in San Casciano,
where you can find a wonderful array of fruits, vegetables, cheese,
ceramics and housewares.
There's no Starbucks but just over 1
mile away is the hamlet of Romita where the local cafe has
groceries and household goods.
Early December is the olive harvest.
Francesco taps into the family vat of "liquid gold" to share a
bottle of fragrant olio nuovo.
